He didn't get ripped at all - in fact, pretty much EVERYBODY agreed that this was the highlight of the entire Oscars show. I highly encourage you to watch the Barbie movie, as it's really terrific, and Gosling absolutely steals every scene he's in.

The four dancers, at the front, are the main actors who played other types of Ken: Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Scott Evans (brother of Chris Evans), Ncuti Gatwa (current Doctor Who) and Kingsley Ben-Adir (Secret Invasion). Scott Evans was the one who kissed him on the cheek and I bet he was loving it.

This one of Greta Gerwig watching the filming of "I'm Just Ken". By the way, the song was written during the movie because Gerwig liked the chorus that Ronson wrote and the entire dance battle dream sequence was done in one day. They wrote the part for him and had never met him. Watching the Kirk Douglas Award ceremonies is also good. I’m sure someone has already told you (or you’ve realised yourself) that this performance was deliberately based on Marilyn Monroe’s Diamonds Are Girls Best Friend….so pink suit, the other Ken’s outfits etc etc . Brilliant

Based on what I’ve heard so far…I think RG’s (baritone?) vocal range is a sort of an ‘operatic Elvis.’ Best examples are his ukulele song in Blue Valentine, his creative version of L.O.V.E. in Lars and the Real Girl and his Ken-ified version of Matchbox Twenty’s ‘Push’ for the Barbie movie. RG can easily be an old radio crooner from the 20s or 30s too. However, what I particularly enjoy is listening to his lower octave vocals on the album, Dead Man’s Bones. 😁

Now we just need Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Gal Gadot to appear in a Barbie sequel, with Emma Stone as Barbie’s best friend Midge who’s in love with Ryan’s Ken, and Cillian Murphy as Human Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s (Ariana Greenblatt) teacher, and the love interest of Margot’s human stereotypical Barbie (Barbara Handler) in a Barbie sequel whenever Greta and Margot are planning on doing it right after when Greta gets done filming Chronicle of Narnia on Netflix. I DO hope that the original actors like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir (who also played Raggae singer Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love) Scott Evans, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena (Mermaid Ken) appear in the sequel too. Also, I think they should bring back Mark Ronson to compose and write more songs for the sequel (probably make it a musical this time) and probably for a Ken movie and Allan spin-off. We definitely need a musical broadway. Let’s start a petition!

I really hope you watch the Barbie movie. It’s really that good! Have you ever reacted to Pentatonix? I would recommend Kiss From a Rose, the live vevo video. Usually they are a cappella, but in this performance Kevin the beat boxer plays the electric cello. I promise it’s worth the listen.

I will 100% be watching the Barbie film, Melissa. Greta is awesome as a Director. As for Pentatonix? Erm... on the surface they don't jump out to me if I'm brutally honest. I'm Just Ken is about the mildest reaction I've done on this channel - and it was because it had Slash in it! 😁 I'm generally all about the metal, guitars and rocking out. But I always make exceptions to the rule so I'll certainly add them to my list. Thank you for the recommendation 👍
