The same reason a lot of overprotective dads dislike it when their daughter gets a boyfriend. They feel territorial and possessive over their child so when that child gets a partner, they consider that partner a "threat" that's going to "take their baby away from them" and if the mom's been coddling him and spoiling him for 30+ years, it's safe to assume that she doesn't have a healthy and mature relationship with her son. I finally got to see my Oma last week.. She's a tough gal. Survived WW2 and covid. Lost a leg a couple years back. Shes in her mid 80s but still sharp. I truly thought I'd never be able to see her outside of her nursing home again. That's my true heart there. The girl is being raised by Larrissa's parents and the boy she gave up custody to the father's sister. She has spoken on it very rarely after being attacked about it. Truthfully her children will never come to the US. She is more concerned with plastic surgery and making money. She says that her children are private and she doesn't like to speak about them. I think that she feels a tiny bit guilty for not wanting them fulltime. As of mid pandemic she was still saying that she helps "when she can" and that her father was still paying for her daughter's schooling and that he told her to just focus on her immigration issues but I know that Larissa had several cosmetic procedures and had started her Only Fans by that time so I don't really think that her kids are a priority for her.
