This scene reminded me of when i used to work. I remember after i got married and went bk to work i changed the way i dressed. I dressed more modestly in asian clothes n not western clothes. N my colleagues would say u know u dont hav to wear these types of clothes. They made me feel awkward i was 21 at the tym. Adventually i left n now i realise they were jus ignorant. I applaud them for tackling the storyline but just because it's a near to the knuckle one it doesn't mean it was well acted. Hollyoaks has a history of getting a lot of their actors from a modelling agency in Liverpool and the acting certainly suffers because of that

Or like those cheaper public-access American tv movies all about topical 'issues', sacrificing characterisation, continuity and understated everyday realism (i.e. longform soap storytelling) for sensationalism. The 'issues' are the only main important characters of Hollyoaks, now.
