Can someone actually explain what’s the difference between sex and gender? I’m not transphobic per say, it’s just that the logic never made sense to me. Bi and gay people, is pretty straight forward. I know some girls that act like guys they’re called tomboys, my cousin is one. My confusion is how does someone think that turning* their body into the different gender/sex changes anything. You are the same person before and after the transition, nothing can change that. So why do people do it? Do you not appreciate your body. Do you hate yourself? Trans men are men, so it's still gay. If I say "I love ice cream" but I only like strawberry you don't say "you don't like ice cream, you like strawberries". Strawberry is a flavor of ice cream just like how trans men are a flavor of men. Hell (outside the metaphor) I've even met some people who don't like strawberries but love strawberry ice cream! People should also remember these labels are made up, for most of human history sexuality as a concept didn't exist, you just smashed who you found attractive regardless of gender. It was all on an individual basis. I use gay because it feels right for me. I'm not attracted to most T-men I see, but I'm also not attracted to most cis men either. Either way, Trans or cis, if a white lady tells you to stop kissing, it's gay.
