If I’m not mistaken, in the manga the assistant to the Shogun didn’t only tell that one dude that threw the rock to attack Gabimaru, he told that whole group that if they killed him, they would all be able to go basically. So that’s why Gabimaru took them all out and why they fought him even after seeing him rip someone else’s throat out lol

@@Lalafluffbunny really, in my view it was one more scene to demonstrate gabimaru's capabilities, or it can also be seen that when Gabimaru determines someone or some group as an enemy he doesn't stop because only one attacked and others did nothing

@@Lalafluffbunny Gabimaru gives off this very.... socially awkward vibe, kinda like Denji, because of the life he lived he has no idea whats normal. he didn't want to kill, but he's very used to killing, to the point he's numb to death. By principal he refuses to kill but he probably has no qualms about it as long as you give him a reason to, no matter how trivial the reason is. Thats probably how he was raised since young, point him to a target and he'll finish the mission.

Well in that era they don't excute for stealing, also their clan is very strong and have so much reputation so the excutions they get are for the strong dudes mostly serial killers, assasins and ninjas like gabimaru since normal excutioners can't get their necks like explained in the first ep. Killing someone that by law HAS to die because they commited numerous devious stuff and ordinary excutioners can't kill as painlessly and mercifully, it isn't as bad and evil as it may look to other people

Those guys were all death sentenced criminals with bodies on they belt trust there wouldn't be reasoning with them. So Gabimaru ended them, either way until only 10 remained it was them or Gabimaru 💁🏽‍♂️

I kinda find Lala’s thoughts on the death row convicts interesting. Not saying she’s wrong or shouldn’t feel that way but for me personally I don’t really have any sympathy for the death row convicts they’ve shown so far outside of Gabimaru. They’ve all done seriously horrible things to other individuals with no regards to their actions. I get what Lala was saying about showing mercy but so far every single person on death row they’ve shown have been pure evil. Until they show otherwise I just don’t think I’d be able to feel sympathy for them. I feel similarly towards the executions shown so far as well. If they are on death row I’m assuming they’ve done something similar to the other people on death row. Like yea if they just stole something execution is way beyond extreme but so far it doesn’t seem like any of them they’ve shown so far has only done something minor like that. I personally couldn’t care less what happens to someone when they’ve sunken as low as being a serial killer or serial arsonist like they showed in this episode but I think it’s interesting hearing Lala’s thoughts and perspective on it. Things like this always make me realize just how differently some people can think from you and I find that pretty cool. Loved your reaction as always Lala!!
