As a vinyl wrap installer, I will say... I am both envious of and highly humbled by this man. Doing a full livery in vinyl isn't necessarily easy, but this is a whole entirely different level. Love that he's keeping this art alive!

LOVED the old Road Atlanta pics! I’ve been a Z car lover since my first car. A 71 240. I grew up going to the Camel GT IMSA races at RA with my dad. Then I finally became the track medical director at Road Atlanta back in the late 90s realizing a childhood dream. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

A fantastic segment! I have been hand lettering & pinstriping since 1980, it truly is a lost Art, I still lovingly hand paint signage & race cars today as vinyl just looks cheap & doesn't have the long lasting appeal of enamel.

Hey everyone at vin wiki, I’m a Canadian kid from Manitoba! All my life I’ve ridden or drove ANY machine or vehicle with 2-10 wheels at a time aha, please next rally through Canada come make a pit stop my town outside Winnipeg Manitoba, my dad has recently had a stroke, heart attack and might now have MS, ALL within 8 months 😕 my dads always been the MOST humble selfless person I could have only wished for to have as a father, him and me bond over cars, fishing, and anything With a motor and he’s slowly not able to do much anymore it would be a DREAM to surprise him with a ride in a hyper car as sept 17th 2020 he turned 50 years old , he just lost his dad, my brother, my auntie, he was stripped away from me and my sister at 15 (me) and (7) her.. we would LOVE set up a car show JUST for him being so strong , he was out of our lives for was supposed to be 8 years, and when he got back he never stopped working to get us back. He will give you the clothes off his back, me and him we’re building a foxbody, he bent frame on a drag race ahaha! But anyways I am going through ALOT in life with a sick grandma and mother it would MEAN THE WORLD! To have all the cars stop buy, hangout for a little bit, and let the son whos always wished to buy him a Harley for his birthday when he was 50 but I just can’t afford it from two daughters and a wedding I’m planning. IF ANYONE SEES THIS! MAYBE SHOW ON PERSON FROM THE VIN TEAM AND SEE WHAT THEY THINK THANK YOU SO MUCH I BLESS YOU ALL FOR SAFE TRAVELS AND HEALTH WITH FORVER GREATNESS!!! Oh ps... HE SENDS IT 😉

I was confused too... Is there more than one peter brock?
@Churbas4 жыл бұрын
@@JoshuaHardie Yeah, the chap he's talking about is an American dude, who was a famous automotive designer(he pitched in on the Corvette Stingray and Daytona Cobra Coupe, for two). The connection to Datsuns here is that he also had his own design shop and racing firm, and that team eventually became the Datsun factory team, with Brock himself IIRC being one of the drivers.
