In Lea's recent interview she said that one of the perks for being a Disney Legend (aside from the heavy trophy and her handprint in Disney US) is that she can go to Disneyland anywhere even outside the US and anytime she wants for FREE and she doesn't have to fall in line in every rides. How awesome is that.

Being from New York (Filipino-American), I've had several chances of seeing Leah Salonga live in some of her Broadway performances, i.e, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables (where she sang "On My Own") and a free show at West Point Naval Academy NY (my husband having been in the US Navy). She is really superb!

Yes, please do!! We're living in the same country but I never get to see her unless she has some tv shows here. She's always abroad that I sometimes feel like she's a foreign artist or something 😬 she's been my favorite and Reflection has been my lullaby since I was a child. I remember we played Alladin at grade school and I kinda got obsessed with this song for a while 😍 it's still on my Disney playlist

We are both super fan of Lea Salonga and Jared was really lucky to be singing beside her. Even just being able to watched her up close I would be starstrucked as well. She is my ultimate favorite singer but I'm quite sad because I was not able to see her perform on stage due to lack of money during those times. I hope to see and hear her on stage someday.. Nice video. The song is being played a little too slow for me and yes, that definitely makes it harder to sing and sustain those notes! I actually think this is the slowest I've ever heard the song played. There are some other slightly slow ones, but also many at "normal" speed. There are many, many videos of different audience members at Lea's concerts singing "A Whole New World" and almost all of them have the same/similar adorable reaction as soon as Lea starts singing: huge smile and eyes closed, like "I can't believe this is happening!" Her name is pronounced LAY-uh, not LEE-uh. If you're a Star Wars fan, think Princess Leia. Or think of a beautiful Hawaiian LEI around your neck. Hope you watch more Lea Salonga videos!
