"She's not in the room, she's not in the concert hall, she's at the place where the scenario is happening and for a moment, I was there with her too." Best commentary and description of Lea's performace on every role she play. She's always into the scene and into her character and she always drag you there with her performance! Very rare talent.

Lea has one of the most precise pronunciations on Broadway, she's a little famous for it. Her enunciation is ALWAYS flawless, it's been that way since she was 16 in Miss Saigon. There's a reason she's the only one who's voiced two Disney princesses: she's not just one of the best voices on Broadway, she has some of the best technique in the world. Watch her jaw. Her shaping is impeccable. Her pitch is impeccable. And it''s so sustainable. Decades later, she can still make these sounds. There's a GOOD reason she's legendary on Broadway.

Part of the reason for that is because when she was auditioning for the role, she was under alot of pressure to be perfect since she was one of or the onlt Asian auditioning for the role. She said in an interview that many people wanted her to mess up the audition, that many were hoping she'd fail. There was alot of racism in musical theater back then.
