We went to the Ramen Chonmage branch in Osaka, Japan and had some amazing ramen... but it turned out our friend who is usually not able to eat ramen at any ramen shops due to their broth being pork or meat broth was able to eat the ramen (with the pork removed of course).... So this is a bonus video of my friends first time in his life trying ramen!

Dude if you visit Japan why would you keep halal? Japan isn't a Muslim country so the food isn't halal. When you travel you're meant to experience other cultures and cuisines, not stick rigidly to your own.
@ahnafj416
@ahnafj416 2 жыл бұрын
@@thewinner7382 🤣 Halal isn't a cuisine. I'm sorry maybe your just out of the loop in your understanding of islam and it's practice. Halal is an Arabic term meaning lawful. It doesn't apply to only food but to whatever is permissible in Islam. I suggest you do some research because my comment will be very long if I explain everything but for me this is my way of life and my religion and I wouldn't change it for anything. I invite you to research Islam. Muslims are about 24% of the world population so it would be of benefit to you to have a basic understanding.

@@thewinner7382 sorry I didn't read your reply properly. I have no issue with eating halal as that's my choice and my religion I choose to follow. I'm not pressured or anything to eat halal. Vegan food without Alcohal is halal. Same with vegetarian and pescitarian food. Fish is always halal. For chicken and beef It's the slaughter process that makes those meats halal or haram. The only exception is pork and alcohol. They will be haram no matter what. I'm not going to crazy without pork. I'm pretty used to to acting like a vegetarian outside but it's very easy to find halal meats and I'm fine without them. I'm from New York by the way.

@@thewinner7382 I'm not sticking with only 1 cuisine and 1 culture. Within the bounds of halal food options you can experience most cultures and cuisines from around the world. I've already had halal Ramen in Queens NY. Even Mexican food too.

Is fish not meat?
@mithooladley
@mithooladley 2 жыл бұрын
It depends on how a person thinks, when they think of meat they think beef, elk, deer, horse meat etc. Since fish, prawn, shrimp, shark, squid, octopus, etc is from sea they think it as seafood not meat. But some people like me think that every thing from sentient beings is meat beef, pork, seafood, eggs milk, vegetables, etc
