This film was initially released as a comedy, with no one realizing that it was actually a prophetic documentary. There is a phenomenon called the "Flynn Effect" (named for the scientist James Flynn) in which IQ levels steadily rose between 1932 and 2006. However, studies performed between 2006 and 2018 found that IQ scores were dropping in three out of the four categories. This is called the Reverse Flynn Effect. The only category that didn't show a decline was spatial reasoning (3D rotation), which makes sense with the amount of time children (and most young adults) spend glued to a screen. Yes, it's official, it doesn't just seem like they are getting dumber, they really are.

0:00-0:36... Bruhh this is exactly what's happening, if you're aware and observe things you'd notice it by now. Dumb people always quick to have kids for some reason, why smart people hestitate and think about the responsibilities...
@yessum153 ай бұрын
I don't think that's true. If there's any pattern, it's simply that poor people or deprived people tend to have more children earlier. However, the amount of children being made isn't really a problem. The real problem is rich greedy people who lack the basic enlightenment to behave in humanity's interest.
@shinji12643 ай бұрын
@@yessum15 If you're intellectual you definitely wouldn't have kids while poor because you would REALIZE it would makes things harder for you in the long run, ain't no way around it.
@yessum153 ай бұрын
@@shinji1264 Generally, no. The decision whether to have kids or not is primarily a function of: 1) Access to the basic technology to prevent it. 2) Access to emergency methods to prevent it. 3) Access to copulatory education 4) Opportunity cost of having kids 5) Existence of a social safety net to provide for you even if you don't have kids 6) Whether or not one needs the assistance of kids to function as free labor (eg: family farms). 7) Access to adult supervision 8) Social pressure Most of these are determined by socioeconomic status and public policy, not intelligence. So whereas there might be a few outliers who break the trend, these factors will be the primary determinants of the typical age of parenthood and quantity of kids. produced.
