A lot of people missed the part in the video when the client said that he gets bored and wants to change his hairstyle up every few months. So even if skin fades aren't your thing, I gotta applaud him for experimenting and trying new things. Too many people box themselves into a look, or go with whatever the trend it's a dagger for the expression we can really get out of hairstyles. Even Dan said he was happy to be doing a skin fade again because he hasn't done one in so long. And to comment on the client looking happy; none of us will never know for sure, but I just had the impression he is naturally a pretty nervous an indecisive guy, and so even if he was ecstatic, I doubt we would have been able to tell lmao.

Absolute nightmare client 😂 As a barber there is nothing more aggravating than a client who doesn’t know what they what and expect you to just magically give them the perfect haircut. “Yeah mate, I want it short on top but still long. I like to wear it up off my face but have still a fringe, and for the sides I like it down to skin but not too short. You know what I mean ?” Or they will show you a picture of a skin fade crop and ask for it with a number 2 and a combover on top 😂 Every barber has been there

client was absolutely clueless lol, but Dan dealt with him well, he was firm enough to give him no illusions exactly what he could expect and achieve via whatever cut was chosen. Some ppl just have no idea about such stuff, I was the same when I used to visit my old barber, but since I began cutting my own hair, and then watching youtube barbers I could hold a good conversation with Dan and know exactly what he meant

Dan's awesome at what he does. I've had some people sit down and not really know what they want or show you pics of someone witb completely different hair or a totally different look and even if the cut is the same they don't look the same with it. And they end up disappointed.

If the client reads this comment I mean no disrespect, this is just my feedback based on the communication between the client and barber, learn to communicate when asking for the haircut you want, the picture he showed contradicted what he asked for verbally, it seemed like the client wanted to hear dans advice on what haircut will suit his hair type and face shape taking into account also the picture shown and what was asked, but also wasn’t willing to accept same advice, it seemed like the client was trying to push dans advice in the direction of his contradictory request so he could talk dan into agreeing that what he asked for would work, when it clearly won’t from the start My advice as a barber myself to this client is if you want to show a barber a picture, find someone who has as closely as possible a similar hair type and texture to you, head shape, hairline and hair density, listen to the advice the barber gives and accept that some hairstyle that you view yourself with or see in a picture won’t work on you, no matter how much you want them to

I could barely make it through this haircut. This guy didn’t have enough hair to cut in the first place. I really don’t know why he wanted it cut, unless just to get on the show. The topper was when he said he gets bored with his hair style every two to three months. I bet he’s a pain to work with as well. Kudos to Dan for taking him on, and Liam might consider screening clients more closely. Thumbs up for Dan; thumbs down for this guy.

I know these type of clients, I used to be one when I was a teen, very ignorant in terms of "hair" and I also had some personal insecurities that tied me to a very complex and abstract way to see the things, that led me to have problems with expressing myself to others. Many years later, now I'm a 32 years old adult and a hairstylist.

I’ve read a lot of comments here and yes, I don’t think the young man knew how to explain exactly what he wanted. But, all in all…myself, I liked the before and the after. The before showed more of his curly hair, which I like and the after is a little more clean cut. I think Dan did a great job considering and it looks GREAT!!! ❤️
