Animals need us to take care of them and when you struggle to take care of yourself it's not easy. If we all found someone else to worry about and take care of, we'd all have each other's backs and no one would ever have to worry. Helping people is the best way to help the world. As humans our best trait is our empathy. Kindness and compassion are the marks of a true man and a true woman. I spent 8 years in the marine core and during my time over in forgin countries as a soldier but I also loved to make time to show less fortunate people kindness. Weather it's talking to a child or helping the people carry water pots or just being friendly. It's important to spread the love we are shown to other people. I also understand we have been going through a rough time in our lives but just remember that there IS hope in this world and there ARE people who actually care. This man is making a difference and he is a true hero. Thank you for helping people and for being a piller of kindness.

Man! Being from the south, we were raised with morals and respect and to treat others with courtesy as you would want to be treated yourself. Also when you see somebody in distress give them a hand to help them out. Not to many people help people anyone anymore. And I myself have personally been cussed out for getting the door for a woman in California in front of my son which I thought was disgraceful. before I was disabled I seemed to help a lot of people. Thanks to people like you I still believe in humanity. Human kindness.

I generally do not help any able-bodied person who ask for money, but there has even been instances where I'm so groomed to people asking for money that when someone asked me for food, I immediately said 'I don't have any money' and started to walk away, while I had food in my hand. I quickly turned around and gave him what I had; that was my dinner that night but the feeling it gave me felt better than eating...This video just reminded me of that and how I need to realize more often how blessed i am and to be more open to giving back and being more kind. You never know what someone going through indeed. Just last week I came to my office and saw what seemed to be one of the homeless people hanging out, he waved me over and asked for a smoke so I got him one from someone and talked to him, he asked for a ride to the hospital but I couldn't so I called ems and co.e to find out he was a lost person with an "if lost contact" card. Be kind and don't judge people on a first impression;)

that first guy.. reminds me of a guy I knew .. he was addicted to heroin up until his 24th birthday.. some random guys dad drove him to a rehab and dropped 5k for a 4month rehab program that got him through the first months of withdrawal , he's now works for John deere making 6 figures... there's more to the story .. but I would be turning this comment into a novel to tell it lol

Kindness no matter how or how little will always be returned somewhere along the way! One time I picked up this young bewildered and bedraggled young man about 16 or 17 yrs old! Hé was trying to walk home which was about a 3 hr drive from the city! His so-called friends had picked him up from the Blackfoot reserve in the area took him to downtown Calgary in Alberta, robbed him of his money and phone! They just abandoned him and left him without anything! They stole his coat! The city police drove him to edge of town instead of taking him to of the Native Friendship centers bc such was closed on the weekends! I was returning to Medicine Hat and caught sight of this young man stumbling along the highway! The sun was setting and the highway was extremely busy! My friend and I became concerned as vehicles were travelling at high speeds and we were going east into the sun’s last rays of the day! We picked him up and he was scared to death bc my friend was a pale lady and he thought he was in trouble or something bad was going to happen! Another case of folks thinking all pale folks are devils! From our conversation, I realized he was developmentally delayed and very dishevelled! We stopped at a truck stop and a trucker helped and took him to the back to get showered and cleaned up! He did not want his grandmother who was raising him to see him like this! We bought him supper and drove him to the reserve! His grandmother was worried sick and had been calling hospitals and police in the area to no avail! She was so grateful and we were humbled! Sadly, this young man did not have any contact with pale folks believing most were evil despite his grandmother’s teachings! This sort of racist nonsense is still putting young folks at risk!

This kindness was returned when I was in Walmart buying groceries and got up to thé till and realized I was a few $$$ short-A little embarrassed and went to return some groceries when a young man stepped up and offered his bank card and paid for my stuff! I was so shocked I could not find words! He was a young Native man and made me think about all those years ago when my friend and I helped another young man! Creator works in mysterious ways! 👵🏽👋🏾

I would have bought that skinny feller a hotdog to go with them chips. You let him just eat chips......that's not healthy at all. I was at the St. Louis bus station one time and this poor street woman ask me if I had 5 dollars, she said she was SOOOOO hungry. I told her ma'am I'll tell you what. Let's go over to that little cafe they got in there and you pick anything you want to eat and I'll buy it for you. She himed and hawed and stalled and said, can't I just have the 5 dollars, I said GET THE F*** out of here. She wanted drug money is all. That's how you find out if there worth helping or not. Anybody who was starving would have took that deal and twice on Sunday.
