My autistic son will be 40 - back then they said he wouldn’t function and recommended I institutionalize him-he went from special ed to regular and graduated - teachers had written him off - he blew a kiss to me when he received his diploma - he owns his own house and gave me a beautiful grandson- love always triumphs - especially with Gods strength- was it rough - yes - but he also taught me so much about life expectations

We have a 29 year old daughter with severe non-verbal autism with cognitive impairment. She lives in an assisted living facility and has been in andnout of treatment facilities due to difficult behaviors that were harmful to herself. We have 5 girls total and finally we get that boy in a grandson. He was recently diagnosed with autism and my heart is just broken. I just know the challenges he will have and he is already having. He is now 2 1/2 and doesn't talk yet, has huge melt downs because of frustration. Him and our daughter live with us and I just feel so overwhelmed with what the future holds. Encouragement would be appreciated. 😢❤😢

@@dawnmontoya4444 - I understand- patience and understanding - I remember when mine finally came into kitchen and said cookie - I had repeated it to him hundreds of times - he was non verbal- I also said I love you bubby- his nickname - one day he said I love you bubby to me - the spectrum is different for all- it is hard but love wins - I promise- may God give you strength when you ask why you - why not you - our battles teach us so much - prayers

Mom of 6 here…when I was pregnant with #5 the doctors told me she had some kind of tumor disease and would probably not live past 6 months. Fast forward to today…she is 32 years old and a veterinarian! God is good! Enjoying your #1 cookbook!

I agree with what you said not realizing how your videos can make such an impact but its true. I don't have kids yet but i was SO touched by your video with Joe and the saying you saw on that sign Faith in God is refusal to panic...i actually wrote it down and hung it up with some of my favorite Bible verses on my computer so when I get overwhelmed or anxious I can remember dont panic! I remember that video last year, and how it made me cry, and touched me in such a way that I have never been touched. I have a cousin whom him and his wife had a son that was born with Down syndrome and they were going to give him up for adoption, and I remember my aunt not allowing him to be given up to complete strangers and her and my uncle took him and adopted him, and he is now 21 years old, and everyone in my family loves him and he is such amazing young man. He communicates through hugs and wanting to hold your hands and loves to go on walks. I love seeing him at Christmas, it just hurts my heart that his mom and dad does not do anything for him or even goes to see him. My aunt is such amazing woman, to take on this responsibility so late in her life, just so her grandson could be with his family. Joe is such amazing young man, love seeing him on your videos, and seeing how you have worked with him and how he reads, and helps around the house and cranberry season and how you were talking about he loves to shovel as his way of thinking. Keep up the great work your are doing with him, and you are touching and changing lives with your story.

Jennifer, I love your videos. My children are grown and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it! Watching you interacting with them, on a farm, cooking your meals from scratch…everything that I once did…brings me joy! I did not homeschool; I worked outside the farm because it was the 80’s and we had no choice and I also had a calling ( I wanted to be a full time Mom, but God had more for me to do 💟) to care for people as a nurse. But my love and my joy was, is and always will be my children, their children…my family! You and yours always bring me joy!! Thank you!! If you have a 45 minute drive to town, have them each pack a light lunch on their own to eat in the car on the ride there. They can finish snacking on it after play practice on the way home. Sandwiches, chips, pretzels, nuts, cut up fruit is easy for them.

I love Earth Breeze laundry sheets. We live in a ranch and when clothes are work clothes are extra dirty…2 sheets and done. Fragrance fee and fresh scent are the only current options. I use fresh scent. Love you and your beautiful family and ALL of your content🥰

I am with you Jennifer on the Amy Lu sausage from Costco. I made myself three this morning and it was all I could do to eat them. Fortunately my daughter had bought them so I don’t have to feel guilty not eating them😊. When you grabbed the powdered sugar instead of the flour it made me laugh remembering an incident with my brother. He was on a fishing trip with his friends and was making them biscuits and gravy. He couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t thickening as usual. He had mistakenly used powdered sugar😂.

❤I've just come back from Galway 🇮🇪 after burying my beloved brother who passed away suddenly at age 58. My heart is in pieces Jennifer. I asked the Lord and my brother Alan to give me a sign on how I could do something in his memory. Hearing the two stories of little babies with Down Syndrome was as if God and my brother spoke directly to me. Yes give Joe a extra special hug for me will you 🤗 it 🙏❤️

Love the longer video Jennifer! I work as a bookkeeper and secretary at our small church. I have to make a payroll deposit every month and file the report quarterly. I do pretty well with those tasks. However, once a year when time comes to do W2's for the employees, and then submit the W2's online to the SSA by the 31st, I panic because I have forgotten the process and have to go back and look at the previous year. And this year of course they changed the log in process so more panic. I'm determined to keep better track of the numbers this year so at the end of 2024, I will be in a better place. We shall see. Lol. You have great kids and I admire you as a mom. But Joe, ❤. He is a funny and sweet boy.

We do not like the Amylu breakfast sausage from Costco. We trying them once and then did not buy then again. Peter and Maria did a good job with their dance. I always wanted four children but I only had two which I’m so thankful for because I was told I probably would never be able to have a child , but God had other plans and Blessed me and my Husband with two children both of them healthy and a treasure to us . They are such a Blessing to us and now they are all grown and in their 40’s and we also was Blessed with two beautiful Grandchildren that we love so much and they are such amazing ,creative ,precious children that just melt my heart ! God is so good and I’m so thankful to Him for the family he has entrusted to us. I always enjoy watching your family here on KZbin and Thank you for sharing your family with all of us and I also want to Thank you for witnessing your Faith…even though I’m not Catholic but I am a Christian and I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart,He comes first in my life and everything else falls into place it’s a wonderful life. i miss my moms chili she put tomato juice in it and onions and green peppers ineverything w/meatitwas so good not thick i cant make some big pot just forme if i froze some

have you looked into quick books it tracks everything and keeps a running total quick books i love it
