Human trafficking is a problem, and the traffickers often operate out of nightclubs and bars, looking for soft targets. The trafficking isn't just to enslave people for sex and labor. She might have been stalking him online and made her move in person. In any case, spiritual people should always protect themselves with spiritual baths and cleansings. Magick seems like a HUGE leap in this case. Even if Chris believed, that's an extremely drastic and illogical response to what sounds like a bad case of night terrors. Taken on face value and with very limited information, my immediate guess would be that this sad story has a psychological source. Of course, I'm not saying that it's impossible that "the woman" (assuming that she &/ their interaction wasn't imagined) didn't direct an entity (like a mare) to Chris. But, to my knowledge, that would have required her to have first obtained his fresh hair, bodily fluid, &/ nails. Or she'd need to have some item that was connected to him on a spiritual level. None of these are things one voluntarily shares with a stranger that gives them the creeps. Alternatively, I might also suggest that Chris could possibly have suffered from undiagnosed sleep apnea or another such sleep disorder.

I agree, with great power comes with great responsibility. This is why I don’t befriend people that do black magic. Their life ends up turning into shit, nothing good comes out of it
