I highly doubt guys are just walking around with FSB jackets on. Then he said “I just wanted to mess with them”. Right after saying how bad it is there… this guy is full of it. There is a difference between exaggerating for content and humor or lying. I feel like it’s obvious that alot of what this guy was saying was BS.

The guy that you’re interviewing - he’s name’s Tommy (without last name) - he is a CIA contractor. He was in Russia on a mission to make it look unrealistic and Soviet and most and foremost importantly to prevent people from going to Russia. Russia is not Soviet. It’s modern. Any person who’s ever traveled to Russia, can confirm it. Also, any person who’s ever traveled to Russia can say that there’s no problem with getting in or out of Russia. Even for liars like this guy. He wasn’t arrested. He totally made up the whole story - it’s a possibility. Miller lies on a daily basis. CIA contractors lie on a daily basis. The reason for lying about Russia is Russia’s new law to provide asylum for Westerners with “common values”. “R must not be viewed as an option for relocation or even travel” because it’s safe and cheap and well, traditional. Another trend is, USA has been turning towards China. It’s laying off China for a little bit (media-wise) because they’ve realized (finally) that Russia-China alliance is not good for the West. They’re finally doing something about it (media-wise). One more thing. Tommy deletes comments that he doesn’t like. (Polite ones) I saw two comments disappear before my eyes. If someone writes something that exposes him, he sure thing will be sure to delete it. What is the point of subscribing to a channel were i can't express my opinion in a polite way? Interviewing Tommy is like interviewing Naomi Parks. They’ll be exposed sooner or later. And the interviewer will find himself in the middle of it.

@jonzarembaАй бұрын
@@PortraitSub this is an interesting theory. I'd like to see Tommy interviewed by Tim Kirby.
@PortraitSubАй бұрын
@@Jack-qr2iy I visited twice also. There’s been a trend (after the decree) Westerners move to Russia and have odd problems like give all their lives’ savings to a complete stranger who can’t speak English; without a lawyer present (the Hares’ situation); then they go public with that story instead of going to the police; or this other guy who “remembered” that he’d been scammed 21 years ago and so on. 7 years on YT, never mentioned it before. I mean the timing. Suddenly all those youtubers find themselves in stupid situations or remember something that had happened ages ago or just tell you that it’s too cold this time of year; with only one conclusion to follow, “you shouldn't go to Russia”. The timing… But you get my point:)

Then he intentionally breaks the law, gets default 15 days of administrative arrest, which you can get for lesser misdemeanors. And now he's complaining how country is bad. Tommy, love your channel. Love all the places you go, it's very organic and you're fearless when it comes to going places most people wouldn't think of. Having said that, no passport?! No planning in Russia and going into sketchy areas?! As an American?!!! I'm not excusing Russian behavior or saying it's a great place, but you played yourself playa. Not for nothing, the US used to have some draconian drug laws only a few decades ago. South Dakota still nails you with a $2K fine and potentially a year in jail for simple possession.

Yes, fully agree with your comment. Also wanted to add that so many of our family members have had to FLEE their homes in the USSR to come to the freedom of America, and people here don't heed their warnings. Why would you think it's a fairytale? People uprooted their entire families to leave. And, who travels around without a passport?!! He's lucky they even let him go.
