@anthonyzullo Жыл бұрын
@@stueyfx9350 remember, they made this movie in a time where sci fi movies got NO FUNDING from studios. We got the BEST version of it that we would get. If they made it today, ugh, it'd be leftist propaganda and just not even the same story, so let's be happy we got something good for the time it was made. Yes, the books are amazing, but we can't even get people to read short stories today, let alone intellectual comedy writing. Sometimes being happy with what ya got is the best route to take. My service dogs name is captain America because he's my favorite and has been for 30 years ever since my dad bought me my first comic. 5 parts. Five parts The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy characters started life as a radio series by author Douglas Adams, a book followed and it turned into a so-called Trilogy in five parts, with the last book Mostly Harmless, publishing in 1992. sorry i've read the books like three times because they are so different from the movie. The books is way better.

@@jerseybound717 the movie is the first book for sure, at least most of it. But the book and movie sre not very unalike. It's the best adaptation of book to live action just like game of thrones season 1, which is considered the most accurate book to show adaptation. But they came extremely close to the book. We have to remember, at the time of the movies release, sci fi and book adaptations erred no where close to being huge for studios to even make. The fact that they could make the movie is insane for the times. It would be turned into a shitty Netflix series today. I'm glad we did get the movie because having the physical characters for me is what got me to read the books and now I read all 5 every winter for the last 2 decades.

@@anthonyzullo Yeah no I've read it over three times. its definitely much different than the books. And i'm not saying the movies bad at all its a great fin just that there is huge differences between the books, tv scripts, movie scripts, etc. I mean it has been written then trashed re written. even explains it in the beginning of the book why all the things are so vastly different from each other like Ford actually being the curly haired ginger in the book instead of Arthur in the movies.

I swear the title of this video has changed since the last time I watched it, because "He Was Kidnapped By Aliens And After Thousands of Years he Returns to Earth as The Only Survivor" is SO FAR from the actual plot of this movie that it's actually insane! NONE of that is what happens. He (Arthur Dent) is not kidnapped by aliens, he's actually rescued from the destruction of Earth by his friend (who just happens to _be_ an alien) He also doesn't "return after thousands of years", he's probably only away from Earth for a few weeks, maybe a few months, and when he does return to the now rebuilt Earth, he's not the lone survivor at all, because everyone who died has also been recreated. Also, Trillion is from Earth too, and she's still alive
