Yes, I am full of Liberty School (vintage 2014) Cabernet. Notwithstanding, this I hold to be an unverified truth..... I was travelling, and sat next to Jerry Jeff Walker, in an obscure area of a Dallas airport. We got to talking. Although, I've never met him, face-to-face, Jerry looks like the twin-brother to my biological father....Fay Laverne Sosbee. Anyways....at one point, amidst the ramblings that I am known to do....Jerry turns to me, holds me by the shoulder, and says, "I wish I'd a been with you." It is a memory I will neve forget.

This whole 'album' is wonderful, check out the rest of it, if possible. Cowjazz, another wonderful album, if you can find it. Jerry Jeff & Susan, had a problem with MCA Records, which led to TRIED AND TRUE MUSIC label. RIP JJW, much missed by many. Brings me back to my old Austin Chalk (pre-Permian) roughnecking & Muddlogging days, working morning tower, getting off and turning this wonderful music on the radio, off to get breakfast. These days, were before Austin went mainstream progressive and Antoine's (sp) was gearing up and Barton Springs was a little known wayside to cool off. I sure hope Texas, stays Texas......

Thanks Michael. Any others from It's a Good Night or Contrary to Ordinary? Been looking for years.

I uploaded a few from them but not a lot. Both albums were re-mastered and re-released on double cd a few months back by Raven Records. I got mine from amazon. Do a youtube search for "(Looking For) The Heart of Saturday Night" by Jerry Jeff to see the artwork.
