I strung it full bed at 48lbs in my Extreme Tour. Absolutely love the string. Very soft and has wonderful feel. I actually felt like it still had a good amount of spin and control, and it’s all around one of my favorite strings that I’ve tried in recent history. Might switch to this permanently, or mix it with Lynx Tour.

Glad to hear you thoughts on it! I got my set from Michelle at Tennis Warehouse around late November. Strung it at 49 lbs full bed on my 360+ Prestige Pro. I agree what you said, and thought it was a soft string. I would recommend a hybrid for this string 💯

Your review of Head Lynx Touch mirrored my experience with the string! - Lower launch angle - Increased power - Not spin friendly - Soft string / You can feel the plowthrough - Laser beam like volleys I could definitely see this being used in a hybrid setup with a stiffer shaped poly string in the mains.

This string has a construction stolen from Prince Warrior Response that is available from Tennis Warehouse for $5 a set and the play-ability description you give is how Warrior Response plays, too. Warrior Response a great cross string. I think of it as a budget version of Luxilon Element. It pairs up well with a softer shaped poly like Head Lynx 16, or Gamma Moto Soft 17. It has a hateful, stiff coil memory, so be prepared to handle it with a little extra care, but it plays soft and not stiff as it feels while stringing. Another smooth poly cross to try is MSV Co-Focus 17L. It's a little more spin friendly while still softening the string bed.

I use the Yonex Vcore Pro 97D I normally use Gamm Jet 18 Lime 48 lbs. ... I tried the Lynx Touch in one of my 97D's @ 48 lbs. my take on the strings were: Good power, good control, great feel and I thought for a round string actually I got decent spin production! I didn't like it as much as my full bed Gamma Jet 18 but am thinking of trying it next as a hybrid with my Gamma Jet 18. When I try it I'll give my opinion again with that set-up. If someone is having arm issues and want's a good softer poly this string will work quite well for that.

So I got my strings about a month ago thank you @TennisNerd for hooking me up. *Racquet* Head Radical Pro MP *String tension* 53 lbs full bed Visual: On the racquet they look so good going from grey to black on every cross. Very unique. Play: Good access to spin and power. I felt the ball come off the strings really well on forehand, slices and drop shots. Comfort: Agree with @TennisNerd really easy on the arm. I've had tennis elbow injury before and I played with ease with no issues matching natural gut. Edit: Been using it for 3 weeks and I'm amazed at how much it's changed a week after I left the review. I'm struggling to generate spin effectively and also touch feels super muted. It could be because of the racquet I got it strung on, it may need a lighter racquet. I keep changing racquet to use one with Luxilon big banger 17. I've checked the tension on the strings and it's maintained it well with a drop of just 3/4 lbs. Really odd how my feelings have changed so quickly I may just need to try out the 17l version hopefully is better.

@@ryansodhi1815 I restrung Hybrid prince synthetic gut 16g mains and head lynx 17g crosses @50lbs and it worked out really well for me out of all the setups. So maybe touch wasn't suitable for me but the normal one is but I also changed racquets to Head Extreme Tour so that may have played a part also.

Also trying Lynx Touch in a hybrid on an Extreme Tour. Thanks for hooking me up! I have Confidential in the mains for now (want to try Lynx Tour). As a cross, Lynx Touch is nicely slick and produces a noticeably less harsh stringbed. Also, although I am only a few hours in, it seems that the harder outer layer on the LTouch is maintaining low friction sliding between the mains and crosses better than a full bed of Confidential (i.e. longer-lasting snap back and more consistent spin). Very positive experience thus far. Thanks again! UPDATE: The Lynx Tour developed an oddly high level of friction against the Confidential mains after a few sessions and, although it is smooth, it sawed through the mains rather quickly. I have had better luck with cheap Pro Line II Rough in the crosses. Although the stringbed is not quite as soft I've gotten much better durability and maintenance of spin potential. YMMV.

My review. the combination of natural gut/ lynx touch in the crosses at high tensions is just the perfect set up for my racquet and style of play. Intermediate player. Head speed is not a powerful racquet. My weak backhand makes me play a lot of slices which become very effective with that powerful combination of strings. Comfort is absolute! Feeling is the best I have ever played with. I can tell where the ball will go before it leaves the string bed. I feel connected. I know what I am doing. The fact that the round shape of Lynx touch and the soft outer material doesn't create much friction is allowing my natural gut to live longer and still going back into place after every shot. I didn't have to realign my string after every break. Serve feels like is accepting more shape from my wrist movement and accept a lot of topspin.All in all I feel like this set up is the ultimate solution for a club player with technical and phisical limits. power and control. I know these words are printed over every set of modern strings but you really get the best of both world. I generate my own spin and I am glad I don't have to rely on shaped strings for it. Thanks Jonas. Thanks Head.

Tried it in the crosses on the Extreme Tour with Lynx Tour in mains. This combo is fantastic! Gives you much more feel and touch than full bed Lynx Tour. Many thanks to you and to Head / Dennis for the test opportunity ✌🏻🙂 I really hope Head will bring out a more spin friendly spin with 4 edges like Solinco Confidential / Hyper-G. I guess this will match pretty well with the Lynx Touch as a hybrid.

This is a REALLY unusual string. Feel stiff when stringing, yet there's power available when hitting. The harder you hit the ball, the better the string responds - its seems to stiffen and the ball somehow dips in - power with control. Seems thicker that its stated gauge. Weight is about 1g heavier than a standard poly, which increases the swingweight. String feels muted but also lively. Not super spinny but enough spin to be getting by. Need more hours with it and will update my comments....
@vwmusicplaylist1935
@vwmusicplaylist1935 Жыл бұрын
This is definitely a control string. On the 2nd day of hitting, hours 3-4, some of the power seems to have gone out of it, and it feels a bit deader (originally strung at 53lbs). I can think of ALOT of soft polys that are more powerful than this. Strings show signs of notching, and not sliding quite as well compared to when freshly strung.

@@villiam7941 Perhaps your tension is too high and your crosses not low enough to allow for more snap back, I managed to get a decent amount of spin. Perhaps, I would think the mains does the most brushing on the ball with your ground strokes. I had Element on the mains and Alu power on crosses which was a nice setup but I wanted more spin so now I have a shaped poly being Lynx Tour on mains and Velicity on crosses for power and comfort but there is not enough feel now so I will next try Lynx touch on crosses.
