I have actually paid off my credit cards and only charge tiny amounts like fuel and "treats" like movies, then pay them off before the next billing due date

I’ve kept my current usage at $0 of $115k available and my score hangs around 830. If I don’t pay off a cc balance and carry for the 30 days between a statement end date and due date, my credit score still drops ~30 points. In other words, if I don’t keep my amount due at $0 my credit score still takes a hit.

... I had to max out both of my cards in February to buy new wheels and tires for my car. One wheel was bent and the chrome was seperating on two others. Car came with aftermarket wheels. Discount Tires didnt carry anything in my size to keep the cost down. I spent $1460 and I think I still owe $700. My goal is $100 between each per paycheck.

Use your cc on everything so you reap the benefits and pay it off at the end of every cycle. If you cant do this then youre just spending money you dont have. Obvious, i know. But a lot of ppl seem to fail at this.

We play the credit card game, and my husband just got rejected by a Citi card because he only uses about 5% of his credit limit and we pay off every month 😂 I guess they didn’t want that kind of customer
