Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

Government policy has thrown the future under the bus for decades. The day of judgment is near. I predict an 80% drop in the stock market. Investors will abandon stocks in favor of real estate. There will be no money in banks... You must devise a strategy for survival.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 30k in crypto and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.

Even with the appropriate method and assets, some investors will still outperform others. As an investor, you should already know that nothing surpasses experience, and that is final. Personally, I had to seek advice from a stock specialist, which allowed me to build my account by over $35k, extract my profit just before the correction, and now I'm purchasing again.

The advice in this video is valuable for the typical American. I started investing when I was 40 back in 1998. Today, I have a decent $3.7M nest egg, thanks to the careful supervision of my CFP. After learning all of this, my only regret is not starting earlier when I was 35. It may not seem like much but those extra 5 years are the most important.

Once upon a time, I was an eager investor. With high hopes and dreams, I diligently built my investment portfolio over the years. But as the tides of the market turned against me, my once-promising investments began to crumble. Stock prices plummeted, bonds defaulted, and my hopes faded away. You can get back on track by following this simple process: Take stock of your financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment timeline. Understand your investment losses and the factors that contributed to the decline. This self-assessment will help you communicate your needs effectively to a financial advisor. Remember to seek the help of a professional financial planner(CPF) as you start over, which is what you should've done from the get go.

Exciting times in the crypto world! The latest analysis reveals a bullish trend for Bitcoin in the coming week, especially intriguing following its recent weekly closing patterns. The approval of a Bitcoin ETF adds to the buzz, presenting a prime opportunity for investors to strategize and potentially capitalize on these market movements. Definitely a moment for crypto enthusiasts and investors to watch closely and make informed decisions in this ever-evolving market...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 532k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Elizabeth Rose, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Wow, that was an incredibly informative and engaging video! It's refreshing to hear someone cut through the noise and get to the heart of investing without promising a magic formula. Investing can be intimidating, and I appreciate the straightforward approach you took in breaking it down into manageable steps. You mentioned the concept of robo advisors as a "set it and forget it" option for investing, which sounds intriguing. However, I'm curious to know more about how robo advisors determine the personalized and diversified investment strategy for each individual. How do they use information about goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation to build the perfect investment playlist, so to speak?

You know you can call fidelity and talk to someone about the investment and help them walk you through how to start investing on your own? They can also tell you the list of advisors in your local that you can make appointments in person. You just ask the advisor questions and have them walk you though how to do things with your fidelity account online if you want to manage it yourself. I called fidelity 800 number twice in the last 2 weeks to ask questions. Don't be shy. You can also ask them about fees that's charged on each funds before you can make sound decisions. Good luck.😊

I've seen this same advice many times, but never any guidance on the next step. Has anyone ever made a video on Investing 102? Or could you recommend some website, books, etc. where we can "do our own research" instead of everyone piling into VOO? In particular, how can we tell the difference between the thousands of available mutual funds? There has to be more to it than the lowest expense ratio. Those "zero expense" funds are getting money from somewhere, which means either hidden fees or hidden risks.

It's scary that most people, their largest or second asset is a retirement or 401K type account and they take absolutely no interest in managing that asset. Boggles my mind as it's not hard to do. Pay some financial advisor 1% to do worse than most of the index fund benchmarks and pay for that privilege. Crazy. I agree, the first investment should be index type funds with very low expense ratios. Get 100 shares and do the following... In retirement accounts, I always suggest learning about covered call writing and do that to help juice returns and accumulate stock like a monthly dividend. The truth about being financially independent is share accumulation over time. DRIP DRIP DRIP. Good content on your channel and the shorts make me chuckle with the delivery, well done!

Invest as soon as you can, do your research now so you can make the most money possible. I would also suggest looking into high yield savings accounts, which pay you a lot more interest than regular savings accounts.

For years I struggled with outstanding debts, bills and my children's school fees. I was at a point where I wanted to give up. I came across every KZbin channel about how to make and multiply your income through passive income. Fortunately, I had saved some money and decided to start an investment, Now I have bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that doesn’t believe in investing..

@@keyur-yk8bninvesting requires higher knowledge. I invest across the top markets but not by myself tho. i follow the guidelines of Alexandra Diana Jose. you might have heard of her.. I can correctly say she’s worth her salt as a investment advisor as her diversification skills are top notch/ I say because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 30 to 5O% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what her place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. .

@@keyur-yk8bn I recommend the services of Alexandra Diana Jose, a US based financial advisor and consultant. She works with an international organization ,she has been very good to my financial journey as she is providing full & continues support till my financial goals has achieved.Finding a right financial consultant is as important as finding a right life partner, as they both play a make or break circumstances in your life. I am very happy that i have the right financial consultant, it has helped me in achieving my financial goals from education to nearly retirement. .
