HEADING To LS Fest With My UNTESTED 67 Camaro *After I Fix The TRAILER*

I bought a 67 Camaro RS for only $6,500 and we LS swapped it to take to LS Fest East 2020. J&J Auto Wrecking pulled an LS2 out of a SAAB 9-7 Aero, and it's managed by a Holley Terminator X. We rebuilt the original Powerglide transmission, and installed a Posi-Trac differential to send power to both wheels. It hasn't been tested, tuned, or even driven so we're just gonna send it!

What do I do for a living? Make KZbin videos.
Can you wheelie? No, I suck.
Are you fast? Sort of. I suck mostly though.
Where can I keep up with you off the bike?
Instagram: WatchJRGo
Facebook: WatchJRGo (or JRGo, FB hates my branding)
Do you go to school? College, for 2 classes.
Why do you ride so dangerously? What do mean? I was doing 25.
Do you go to the track? Of course, hopefully there will be videos in the future.
Do you play video games? No, but I might stream N64 Goldeneye at some point. Twitch: WatchJRGo
Are you afraid the police will watch your videos and arrest you? Something something evidence something something warrants and due process of law

5am and JR's firing up the race car. I bet the neighbors loved it or are they 'Meh, it's just Josh & JR'? All this time JR's been obsessing about windshield wipers and I'm thinking why bother? Guess JR can predict weather wks in advance. I use a trick knee, but that's only for hrs in advance, not days. I bow to the expert.

In '68 I got home from Nam and bought a bright red '68 Firebird HO 350 with Muncie 4 speed Hurst shifter. Loved it and drove it up until about 1988. Sold it for a grand, worst thing I could have done, damn I wish I still had that car, and hell, I'm 77 years old. It was still in really nice shape, no rust , ran like a bear.

@@garys9694 I actually got the chills reading your comment. My father also bought the Firebird after serving and returning from Vietnam! Blue 350 with a 2 barrel carb. I have fond memories riding in it as a kid. (waiting in line at the gas station during the gas crisis)

I can't believe you had to make your own vinyl for your wheels you think as much as they cost they would send you any size sticker you wanted??? Good luck at LS Fest man I hope you do a great burn out for us all I'm sure it will you're running a featherweight there. Stay safe stay well and as always God bless

I have the same hitch for my Silverado 2500hd. Make sure and use some lube on the inside of the hitch pin lock. It will get junk in it and lock up. Then you will have to put the key in and turn it with pliers. Ask me how I know. So every so often spray the inside of the lock to keep it in good shape.

Pro tip: Tire Slime those trailer tires, BEFORE you get a flat, and you'll never have a problem again 😉👍 Trailer tires are prone to flats because the tow vehicle kicks up debris, which end up in the trailer tires. They also take more abuse from curbing, and get into more debris on the inside of corners, and the road shoulder.

Do you know what that looked like when you fueled Diesel from the green pistol to your truck? I was.. OH NO!! since in here, green pistols hold gasoline and black ones hold Diesel. Blue ones hold AdBlue additive for new Diesels.. and we all know what gasoline does to Diesel engine..

In GA it's madness. Always gotta check the pump first before filling. Any color can be any fuel. I learned that hard way when I filled my car up with diesel after a long night with no sleep. Green was diesel that time but I've also seen diesel be black and yellow as well here. Luckily the gas stations have been more consistent and green is diesel more times than not lately.

So uhhh from experience, definitely take that hitch off whenever you aren't using it. I left mine on through the winter (I did use it fairly often) and my locking pins completely seized and I couldn't get them off... Somehow the pin holding the ball onto the hitch got rusty and it actually snapped in half (thankfully I wasn't towing anything)

Hey Jen, those dust lock covers do a pretty good job at keep debris out so that your lock functions properly, however if it does seize up, we will cover that under warranty and get you new locks!
