Man, you just gave me a wicked idea, how sick would it be if our tarnished could mantle that in a fight, like for example you crit it. And it pops open the snakes on the inside, instead of attacking you grapple a fist of them and pull them like controls and use the abductor to run over nearby foes.

She very definitely had more than 200 poise. I just checked, and that entire combo from maliketh by 8:02 onwards deals a total 210 poise damage. Considering that she took dmg from gurranq too, she should have been poise broken...

It doesn't take all of that poise damage. For example, Lansseax has around 120 poise, but doesn't take the full poise value of an attack if you hit her in the legs. The Night's Cavalry are another (notorious) example of this.

Abductor virgins have the most convoluted poise mechanics of any Fromsoft enemy ever. Illusorywall talked about this in his ER poise video, but to summarize, they only take 5 poise damage from any single attack. It doesn't matter if the attack deals 50 poise damage, to them, it will still count as 5. Except when it's lighting based, then they take 20 poise damage per hit. So that means bosses needed to land 40 freaking hits to stun it here with its overbloated 200 poise.
