I actually liked how this version had a mixed history with Ichapod Crane who was a badass in his own right. It made their rivalry a bit more believable than some coward overcoming his fear or just running. Plus the horsemen was an absolute badass throughout the show.

You are right but movie from 1999 is still my favourite incarnation of this story, jus like F.F. Coppola Dracula movie is my favourite adaptation of famous vampire.

This song fits the Headless Horseman quite well. 0:48 and 1:35 I find it quite interesting that the sunlight affects Abraham but not Henry, since they’re both Horsemen of Moloch. 2:54 to 3:00 Aside from becoming a Demon-like Horseman, the main thing about Abraham that I don’t like is that he couldn’t take no for an answer. You cannot force someone to love you, and you’ll just draw them further away if you try. I can see and understand why Abraham felt betrayed by Ichabod and Katrina, but it was wrong of him to do what he did after finding out that Katrina wanted to call off the engagement. She didn’t love him, because it was an arranged marriage.

Me too. This show was awesome and ended too soon. But at least it had a relatively good ending, all things considered. It wasn’t really a cliffhanger, like some shows end with. Shows like “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. That show had good bones and should have lasted at least one more season. It’s been about 15 years since they canceled that show and I’m still upset that they ended it on such a cliffhanger.

​@@herosjourney8725not gonna lie, I watched it a long ago during High School and lost the pace but recovered it on Disney+ last year. I hoped to finally get the satisfying ending the series was supposed to have. Needless to say I got disappointed it's forever left incomplete after four seasons.

@@tizianotrasmondo6011 I think after first half of season 2 the writers lost track of what the show was suppose to be. It should have had a horseman per season. at end of season 1 we had two horseman. In season 2 war would be the main villian only for both horseman defeated in finale. The third horseman in season 3 and defeated in that season. The fourth horseman in season 4 and defeated in that season. The white monster, I forget the name, should have been season 5 villian where the apocalypse has started and the 4 horseman are back. The final scene should be our two leads, Katrina, aby's sister doing cop work where crane's personality is a good balance of modern and 1800's. He still has his British accent with his signature usage of words but he understands the modern world far better than he did in season 1. Yes he still would be married to Katrina. Their home would be very 1800's like.

@@herosjourney8725 It all went down for different reasons but there was an escalation: during season 2 they started some racial bias Treatment giving Hawley's actor more space than to Jenny's actress, Katrina's actress was unwanted by fans as her performance was judged poor (that's why they turned her evil and took her off in season 2), after that TV writers took a different direction and asked Irwin's actor to leave (that's why Captain Irwing is no longer present After season 2) and when Nicole Beharie got an autoimmune infection (the same Tom Mison got) she was forced to keep working (another racial bias Treatment) unlike Mison who was allowed to go home for recovery as he was White; Beharie felt so pressured she had to quit the show (killing off Abbie Mills' character) and was even blacklisted as problematic for a long time after. They tried to recover in season 4 by recruiting new actors and creating a new story with Janina Gavankar stepping in as Crane's new companion Diana Thomas but the story and couple didn't have the same chemistry as Mills-Crane had. So they shut it down. That's how Sleepy Hollow ended ingloriously and unceremoniously, forever left undone and incomplete because of racism and disposable treatment towards its actors.

They treated the actors (especially afro american ones) as expendable, gave more space to Nick Hawley's actor more than to Jenny's actress Katrina's actress was unwanted by fans as her performance was judged poor (that's why they killed her off at the end of Season 2) and even asked Orlando Jones (Captain Frank Irving) to leave. Not to mention they kept making up monsters and getting of the subject repeatedly. They treated Nicole Beharie unfairly as she was black: when both her and Tom Mison got the very same autoimmune infection, the latter was allowed to go home and rest while Beharie was forced to keep working at full time and even when some doctors insisted she needed recovery they didn't let her and forced her to leave. Killing off Abbie Mills' character was the nail in the coffin who sealed TV show's fate. The racist screenwriters tried to launch it again by introducing new monsters and characters, among these Ichabod's new companion Diana Thomas. Despite Janina Gavankar stepping in and doing a good job, Janina and Tom didn't have the same chemistry he and Beharie had as Ichabod/Abbie partnership couple and that led to the show being permanently shut down. Season 4 finale was unceremonious and undone forever because screenwriters let greed and racism get the better on themselves. Here how we lost Sleepy Hollow.

The funny part is that is about 6 or 7 people portraying headless. Craig flew in from California just to do the horse riding, and Jeremy played headless without a head for season 1, except not in the pilot. There was also one that only did weapons, and eventually another actor when he had a face.

They were probably like U.V. Lights. I saw those in the game Dying Light. They hurt the night time zombies. I know the Headless Horseman is not a zombie, but still. My guess is that the U.V. Lights are like sunlight, and that’s why it affects them since they cannot be in the sunlight.
