Thank you for your video. Out local mechanic said it was 2 hours for each side, like $300 to do the job. They said they had to remove grill and headlight housing. You are a wizard!!

To remove headlight assembly, you do have to remove grill.

Thanks Van. I did it the long way and took the wheel off and removed the whole plastic fender liner. Takes longer but much easier and didn't destroy my hands. For those not pressed for time and that can easily lift a vehicle, I recommend the long way.

I really enjoyed your video! We need more humour in our world! Especially the dogs watching. I often say they are our biggest fans! Lol! One thing to remember is to never touch the halogen bulb with your bare hands. The oil from your skin will burn when the bulb heats(it gets very hot) and will end up killing the bulb very quickly. If you do touch the glass part, you can use 99% alcohol on a very clean towel to wipe them clean.

On the 2012 Acadia's left /drivers side it ha to be done this way. Yet on the right / passengers side, all you have to do is remove 2 bolts for the coolant expansion tank and one bolt for the AC line. Remove the tank and you can reach inside the fender to replace the bulbs. EASY!

I did this on Saturday. I made some noises but they weren't grunts. It was more like "mother f***ing, engineers made this as difficult as humanly possible."

Yes the worse vehicle I have had to deal with yet! Tried to drain my tranny and the bolt is blocked by the exhaust. I have to disconnect the exhaust to take the bolt out.

My problem was with trim screws on passenger side. Top screws went out easily. But bottom three stuck. Had to use Dremel tool to cut-off them. Looks like acidic debris along curb did good job killing 3 screws/speed nuts.

We don’t have our Acadia anymore. It was a pretty good suv. Had to add Freon once and had to add some stop Leak to the radiator. I made a video for both. I think the headlight was the worse thing though lol.
