Wow! Opposite creator day! Tortuga stared a throw-away character, and so perhaps skipped over some starting things, then boom! THG giving a master-class on how to trade for profit which is what I would have expected from Tortuga! So then really expected THG to lose his guy in the 1st battle, to show how talking the time to DO all that trading will be ultimately futile, yet he won convincingly! So yeah, more please as you play differently than Tortuga, and the race is on to see who dies first!

I appreciate a historical approach to a hundred years war knight. However it doesn't' really hit the historical appeal for me. First off, an English peasant would likely not go to France in an Edwardian army as a man-at-arms. The English army was a professional army that paid their soldiers well, and they certainly didn't bring a scrub with poor equipment like this. This is the 14th century. English brought household knights and squires that trained long before the age of 18 and not many would have come from the peasantry. The men that would have come from the peasantry and merchant class would have been archers.

A RUSTY ANCIENT HELM (looks Roman) doesn't even SOUND appealing. Plus Penelty wise it is worse then the Light helmet, Minus 1 to Agility, Endurance and Cordinaiton vs just minus 1 coordination. Although the Ancient helm DOES give you little bit of Neck protection, I wouldn't say its worth it. Also its pronounced Fal-she-on or Fal-she-en. Something like that. Its a short sword with a thicker blade i think.

You can purchase a weapon with those point during the character creator. You only need to click on "Weapons" for a list... or was this not the problem?

Perma death. I don't understand how this gaming characteristic is "fun." Moving on.

I mean its not like you get NOTHING for failing a Run. You play, get as far as you can and do as well as you can, DIE, earn points to make your next character stronger. I can see it being Tedious going though the same events over and over again in the early chapters but Its basically a "rogue like" so to speak with a Structured story.
