Mic the same, speakers better on 80. But given the price of the 40, the 40 wins.
@HeadsetAdvisor3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! It all depends on needs. If you're in a loud environment and need to zone out the noise, the 80 will win and people would be willing to pay for the problem to go away. The 40 will be the best value if the main goal isn't to eliminate background noise.

I was just wondering what's the difference between the 40 and the upper models then you published this video! The Jabra 80 is slightly better, but the Jabra 40 is the Best Buy as it costs about 70€ here in Italy. I'm considering only the microphone and blender test.

All models are made for different needs, so it really depends on the application. If noise is an issue or users want a headset to really knock out the noise they hear around them, customers are happy to pay the difference in price to fix the problem.

P.s. What about a comparative video between the low/mid/high range product of a brand? E.g. The Jabra 20vs40vs80 and also for other brands you have

Great idea :) will add to list.

Hey I miss your pervious mic and video camera . Cheers

Which mic and camera are you referring to?
@HeadsetAdvisor3 жыл бұрын
Don't worry the other video camera/mic didn't go anywhere :) we record every Friday in the office with the cam/mic you may be referring to. When we're not in the office recording videos, this is the setup at home.

so the 40 has a way better mic then the 80, but the 80 seems more comfy on the head for longer use. Damn

I own the Jabra Evolve 40s but I share your opinion that they put uncomfortable pressure on the ears after several hours. I think it is the design, because I don’t have a large head (fit into youth bike helmets, etc.). What is your recommendation on a more comfortable headset with comparable sound quality?
@HeadsetAdvisor3 жыл бұрын
The Blackwire 8225 or Focus UC 2 are the most comfortable headsets we've tested so far. Check out 8225 video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHTKnJmIm8-Cosk Check out Focus UC 2 video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hImQk3ihnNyUqtk

How about the ANC on the Evolve 80?
@HeadsetAdvisor3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tyra, the ANC on the Evolve 80 works well, but the Evolve 80 doesn't have a noise canceling microphone just heads up.
@janmartin8903 жыл бұрын
about the same noise cancelling.
