@Gauldame4 жыл бұрын
The reasons why most people don't work out are a) Life. As time has progressed, many have to work schedules that are killing any motivation and b) "working out is boring" Also the workout industry keeps portraying if you "do this one thing you'll be buff like me". No, it isn't a magic trick. Workout correctly...eat correctly...rest correctly... repeat. The meta analysis is clear. Magic woowoo doesn't work, work...works. For a) that takes a concerted effort. Even if all you can do is walk further to work and drink less soda's, every bit helps. Also, try to press for changes in the local, and regional support structures to ensure workers rights if you can. Contrary to what certain groups espouse, workers aren't lazy and yes they do have rights. For b) find something... anything active. That's safe and doable. After talking with your doctor. Then work on dietary protocols to bring your nutrition intake into healthy parameters while still achieving satisfying meals. Unlike many things, working out *is a lifestyle choice*. You don't just slot into a gym. Some run, some yoga, some dance, some lift, some catch spears thrown at them and throw them back (what don't @ me) If the body exceeds calories in, it will call on reserves. If the body exceeds calories out, it will build reserves. Be the calories out coming from running, lifting, sports etc. And you're allowed to change routines. Do something every day. One day walk far, next: KZbin dance video aerobics, next: yoga stretching routine. Whatever. It is an active lifestyle, with consistency in activity levels and dietary protocols that results in sustainable change over time. Challenge the body with unique stimuli, fuel the body with filling nutrition, with a lot of fiber and a balanced nutrient intake and allow rest periods. That *includes* getting *sufficient sleep nightly*. As a wiser man than me said "there is no supplement you can take for consistency" and it's true. Find what you can do, every week, for the rest of your life. If you are trying to lose weight, throw your scale away, work on cutting calories while still being full, work with your doctor and keep at increasing your activity levels doing things you like. The scale will demoralize you. Don't be a slave to it Don't build a dietary protocol that you are constantly hungry, or that you do extreme restrictions and then bounce back. 1) you'll hate it 2) on the rebound you'll eat worse. If you are losing more than 1 kg, or 2 ish pounds *a week* and it isn't newbie losses, get with your doctor. That could be a warning sign, or you could be hurting yourself. 1) extreme quick weight shifts, up or down, are hard to maintain and 2) extreme levels of weight loss can either be a sign of medical problems or be very hard on your system. Channels like Shredded sports science, Jeff Nippard, B.U.F.F. Dudes, and Pure Bullfit have series of videos, highly researched, accessing the primary lit for citations if you wish to see topics explained in a eli5 manner. During activity, watch form, and protect your joints. Ego anything will end up making you regret doing it in the long run. Your knees, spine and rotator cuffs are more important than any ego. Remember, the influencers on Instagram work on their body for their job, they didn't get that shape with a 5 minute tabata routine. Neither will you. Thank you for attending my Ted talk. Source: I'm a scientist who does metabolism stuff, and I've had to have my spine rebuilt from the ground up because of a genetic issue in my bones and blood, and I've worked with a dozen experts on this for years.

This sounds weird I love this video but what I really love is the way your healer is clearly using this chat to distract her patients and isn't actually fully invested in the conversation yet pulls off the right level of empathy like she cares for her patients and loves her work but her attention is on the medical needs and the conversation is to make sure her patient doesn't make those needs worse. Not sure if that is what you were going for or if I'm reading too much into it but if it was it really came across I saw it in the first video too but I think it shines out so clearly when you added the 2nd half

I can't wait to see a Police Captain interviewing the PC about their alleged criminal history, or a librarian helping research a topic of interest, and of course learning about the home town of the PC one piece of advice, that I got from the Pitch Meeting guys. if you're having a conversation with "yourself", sometimes cut the video to the other person, while keeping the audio, to see their reaction. it makes it feel like an actual conversation, not a call and response.

Geez, your character is talkative! Mine wouldn't say that much about themselves, revealing only what they wouldn't care others knowing. Awesome video once more!

Yeah, I mean... this kind of video is also only really useful if your character is willing to talk! If they normally wouldn't be, I'd suggest finding a way to justify them being unusually talkative - maybe they're delirious from the pain, or they're more talkative during an adrenaline rush, or something like that. Personally, I don't really see the point of creating a roleplaying character who doesn't engage with anyone, so all my characters are pretty talkative! Roleplay is talking, mostly!!

@@GinnyDi Well I used it to prompt both conversation and reflection, playing my character's silence/subject divertion and still think about what was said. For a video, I agree that you need to be talkative (just imagine if you had said nothing for the whole time, that would have been a weird one haha), but in the comfort of one's home it's still great for more silent type characters, trying to find ways to say things without divulging what you want kept secret. I found it to be an excellent exercise in character building and roleplaying at least!
