Hi I am Shanthi, from Tamilnadu in our place we use to do so many recipes with various greens which we call it as ' keerai - various herbs, shrubs or some tree leafs' where each kind of keerai has unique amazing medicinal benefits. And it's a common practice here to cook it at least twice a week like murunga, ponnaganni, siru keerai etc which are cooked deliciously in the form of " kuttu, poriyal, masiyal, Thokku, sambar" etc Here i would like to share a simple " murunga keerai poriyal" recipe ingredients: 1) 1 cup-murunga leaves without stem only leaves 2) 1 small size onion or 7 nos of shallots finely chopped into very small pieces 3) 2 Teaspoon of coconut/ cooking oil 3) 5 garlic pods 4) 1 dry chilli 5) 2 pinch of mustard seeds 6) 2 pinch of urad dal 7) 2 pinch of cumin seeds 8) one hand full grated fresh coconut or 1 tablespoon of coconut pieces 9) salt to taste Preparation: 1) combine coconut grated/ pieces + dry chilli+ cumin seeds + garlic in a mixe small jar give 3 or 5 pulse till it crushed rougly keep it aside Now, heat a kadai with oil and add mustard seeds + add urad dal+ finely chopped onion + saute it then add washed murunga leaves don't drain fully let it be with little water and mix it well in a simmer flame close with lid for 3 mins + now open and check whether it has become soft and tender if yes after that no need to close + now add the roughly crushed ingredients and mix well and add salt keep it in low flame for 2mins then it is done. Garnish with grated fresh coconut or 1tsp of coconut oil stir it well and close it for 5 minutes the aroma sets into the dish. * But after cooking the 1 cup leaves will be very less in quantity so plan accordingly * Can add fresh or soaked dry prawns next after adding onions * Ideal side dish for rice with sambar, karakulambu, vathakulambu , moor kulambu or parupukulambu.

Growing in the Philippines we green moringa 3 meals a if we can. We grow moringa in out farm between us human and the goat who lives moringa the goats is eating the skin of the tree until reaching to the wood part. We removed the green moringa from the stems in the morning I cooked moringa with my scramble eggs with steam rice. At noon when we caught fresh of fish, shrimp, sea shells we made a stew and top it off with green moringa leaves add salt and pepper that's it. We cook mung beans soup with coconut milk add lemon grass the last 7 minutes of cooking we add a lot of green moringa we cooked until it became freshly hunter green color. We added green moringa to all our stews. We never get sick we were skinny and health flat stomach. We only eat the leaves we never eat the flowers or seed. Moringa is tasty I boil the water pour in the green moringa a lot of green onions and two stalks of lemon grass. It's delicious itself without so Manny additives when we have a leftovers grill or broil fish we shredded and add to moringa soup. We used moringa in all of our dishes.

Muringa chammanthi recipe--4:22 4:22 4:22 4:22 Coconut, tamarind,salt ,4 small onion,vattalmulaku, vattuka in a frypan.Muringa leaf also vattuka. Mixi il adikuka by adding little jaggery. 😂😂❤Super Ist vattal mulaku vattuka , neekuka from pan. 2nd Coconut, onion, leaf..Leaf put last in this mixture for vattan. Take all in mixi.Add tamarind without seed(pichi cheenthi iduka) and also jaggery little as dust form or scratch by using knife. Add little water for ìt.crush only in mixi.

Hi, Sweet Moringa ragi roti (My Amma recipe) Ingredients:1cup ragi flour,1cup fresh moringa leaves,1/2 jaggery ,1 onion ,2 green chilli,water,pinch of salt. Preparation:dissolve jaggery with water then add all the ingredients in jaggery water.batter should be thick dosa batter consistency,then heat the pan add little oil or ghee pore the 2table spoon mixture and spread it,cook in low to medium flame ,fry both the sides,sweet Moringa ragi roti is ready. Note:If doesn't like sweet flavour skip jaggery,then make normal ragi moringa roti. My mother make it very well,

Moringa chutney Simple recepie with ingredients 2bowl Moringa leaves,6 garlic, black salt, 2 green chilies, 2spoon white sesame seeds, 2 spoon rosted groundnut, 1 spoon dry coconut powder, sugar half spoon, oil 1 table Spoon Rost all in oil and grind smoothly. We can have this chutney in daily lunch and dinner in winter. Must try it and take benefit of all ingredients in this winter

Moringa powder with Ash gourd and fresh coriander in a juice...first thing in the morning. Strain it and drink. Use the pulp in your veggie preparations. The strained juice is palatable. My personal experience has been great....The juice acts as a diuretic and am guessing....provides super nutrients.

It’s really good for high blood pressure patients. Dry the leaves in dark place Grind it to make powder. Take half teaspoon twice a day after meals. Really works

I sometimes use Moringa in a simple recipe of chopping the fresh leaves pulled off the stem and just frying with my eggs. My mum use to cook the leaves like herbs but she's no longer so I'm just improvising. Hello Dr, I make buttermilk by adding moringa powder, but I have included a few other ingredients in the powder like dried curry leaves powder, Fenugreek powder, asefoetida, cumin powder and black salt. I prepare normal buttermilk without adding salt and add a teaspoon of this powder and consume it after breakfast or lunch. 😊

Fry mince onions and garlic add a small can of sardines stirring for 1-2 minutes add 1 sardines can of water bring to a boil add green moringa leaves stir well cook until the color change to a hunter green add salt and pepper to taste enjoy.

In the US it took me awhile to find moringa because they named it like in Indian store as drumsticks and the green moringa was folded in half inside the package I always look for moringa in the international market most of the time is not fresh some leaves already turn molded or brown. I also baught the moringa powder but I haven't use it.
