Hi, everyone I have a secret for you reveal. The reason why the United States of America and the Vatican keep delayed time by playing the voting game between President Biden with President Trump even though they know their children is going to die for no reason because if the Tibet and India know Pope Francisco does not want to see Holy Dalai Lama but he sent a Vietnamese came to Tibet say Vatican and NATO will liberate the Tibet and India. In contrary; every time NATO visit any country, Pope Francisco will visit that country. They do know the Vatican had done with Tibet 's citizens, thus they don't even say sorry. Secondly; I hope the India' citizens please pay attention. Don't you think this is disrespectful. Lastly; Pope Francisco told the whole world that he had a plan to make the world will be peace but I say from now to 10 years our economic will collapse and we will face the flood of the ocean that will drown alot of country such as Japan, Korea, Philippines and Taiwan etc later. Because Russia will fight with NATO in Europe at the west, and at the east, both of them fight at Alaska. When the iceberg break and melt, the sea level will be up. IF India doesn't allow NATO settle in their country. Unless Pope Francisco says sorry to them so this disaster will not happen. Please tell me your comments Sincerely Thanks

What a wonderful conversation. The lady who asked the first question made me cry as I decided years ago that I didn't want children as I couldn't bear it if I made then unhappy like my parents made me. I often think how different I would have been if I'd had parents who looked at how they behaved and realised the impact it had. I think this lady will be a brilliant mother.

Everyone around me seemed to be so accepting and unquestioning and I always felt something was wildly amiss. Our society, has been and continues to be, very toxic indeed. Most people are trapped in jobs they don’t want to be in and that’s just for starters. Is it any wonder people are struggling. Anyway, I’m going to enjoy listening to the rest of this on my evening stroll. Thanks for keeping me company with such brilliant wisdom.

I had 2 NDE's and saw that it is not knowing who we are, being disconnected that leads to a fearful way of being and all kinds of strange and destructive behaviour comes from it. Trauma is one of the main ways this disconnection happens. Kind of like a rabid dog getting the rabies virus and becoming dangerous and unpredictable. We come here and we live in a particular culture, family, group of people and we get conditioned to not be our true selves. We kind of all catch the same "virus". We forget who we all are, which is Love and because of the disconnection and forgetting who we are, all kinds of insanity happens from being unconscious. Also, earth is a place of extremes from the worst of the worst to the very best and everything in between. We come here for that challenge. I was received in the NDE's with total unconditional Love, compassion and acceptance without judgement. There is no separate from us "God" of any religion, that hands out rewards, punishments and judgements. I saw that nobody is ever left behind. To awaken to who we all truly are, while we are embodied and having a human experience and then to live from that pure state of BEING as best we can, is to bring the kind of unconditional love without judgments I experienced in the NDE's, through us and into this realm. It deepens and expands the Love that we are, deepens our compassion and brightens the light that we are.

Well written… I too was fortunate enough to have a similar experience. It has forever changed my life. Unfortunately, it’s taken almost 3 years now for me to finally surrender & just accept that I can’t go back to that intense unworldly type of Love I was so lucky to feel. Or worse yet, searching for answers to “why” did this happen only for me and no one else around me? After living my entire life surrounded by trauma, I have learned to see life through a whole new light & that alone is something I’ll forever be grateful for. It was true enlightenment, knowing there’s certainly more to the universe than what we’ve all been told. Thee other side of the veil…. learning everything that happens to us, actually happens FOR us. Energy…. ⚡️ 🌎 ❤🙏

As someone who has only just reached a point where I have the appropriate psychiatric care to help me begin the journey of finding the self I am underneath all of the dissociative coping strategies that I used to survive, I think it’s important for mental health providers as well as survivors and patients to understand that the most challenging and productive work is letting go of coping mechanisms that no longer serve us and learning ways of existing that allow for less rigidity and more authenticity. Gabor Mate’s words are incredibly insightful.

Hi dear, please check out Irene Lyon and her nervous system healing work. The nervous system is the missing piece, where everything else clicks into place - in all things trauma and healing. We need to go through the body first. This work is such a complex yet simple, beautiful, self-honouring, gentle thing. It's tender magic is hard to put into words, let alone in a short youtube comment. Irene has a ton of high-value content on here and you can find more about her and her work on her homepage. I am currently starting her main program SmartBody SmartMind, which is going to enable me to truly become my own medicine; I can't wait to start living and thriving instead of merely surviving! (please check out testimonials - it's the most life changing, if not lifesaving work I have come across) Wishing you all the very best!

@@Jana_Rea I’m glad you find her work helpful! I prefer the work of other individuals, as she seems to glean from the research of others and synthesize it and explain it, which many have done. I actually prefer to read the research and other content in book form with annotated bibliographies so I can more easily trace the information. It’s a habit I got into in college after a lot of time in the science departments. I have an extensive reading list that I’m working through. I’m always glad to see more people speaking openly about such topics though! Thank you kindly for the recommendation! Best wishes! ^_^

Suffering leads to awareness, then the lesson , then compassion for the self and the suffering. Basic needs for safety and belonging are essential for survival and thriving.
@kannakanina6552 Жыл бұрын
@@phyllisjackson4322 I agree, though I would say that every step of the way from suffering to awareness, from awareness to understanding, from understanding to compassion requires conscious decisions to do the hard work. I agree that humans cannot thrive until safety and belonging are established, but I suppose I have too often heard that suffering can lead to all of this growth opportunities without hearing that it CAN lead there but that suffering can also lead elsewhere. The difference, in my limited experience, is a sense of cultivating and working towards awareness and wholeness and safety. If suffering exists in the absence of human agency and conscious decisions to grow, without support, I feel like the results can be devastating, individually and societally.

I am so glad you spoke about how children are not treated the same in the same family. The first child is First at everything. Mum usually has more time to spend with them relatives are excited for the First child or Grandchild. The second has much less time (in most circumstances) spent on them. They and feel this really Strongly that children now have to fit in! They have parents who are working full time. They shipped to nursery from such a young age and parents wonder why a child cries so much when they are left and are told ‘oh he/she will be fine when you’re gone’ the distress you hear in that babies cry 😢 yes they may stop crying when they are gone but surely it’s subconsciously that they have to survive. Why we don’t develop a community for parents/caregivers that includes both, for the first two years of a babies life, is beyond me. Instead, we have governments who encourage childcare for even younger babies, so that Mums can go back to work ! Having and bringing up a child is a gift and huge responsibility. If parents spoke and treated their children like they do their bestest friend we would be on the right road, I feel. I’m glad you said there is a way out of the Doom as in my role I see so many broken people. I, because of Dr Matê, ask nearly all my patients, how are you doing, how is life in general. Thank you

When I meditate from the perspective of my early childhood all my senses hurt: sound hurts, light hurts, rough touch hurts, smell hurts, many foods taste foul, the emotions of others hurt. Youngsters eventually become more tolerant to the world; parents can, and are duty bound, to alleviate such discomfort.

Some parents fail to understand that these young people are learning, will make mistakes and experience the full range of emotions. As a Coach i have learnt to love the chaos of running bots football teams and try not to be a control freak, but let children to experience and be a consequence of their actiobscwhilst supportibg them to understand what is like to be part of a team that will win and fail. But, we will stay together and enjoy the highs and lows..

Of course you do. We all are, but you have to define yourself every day again and again and do not believe to others how they treat you because that's their wound. Remember what happens to a $100 bill when you step on it, soak it wet, crumble it up, tear it half then tape it back, then chip it's corner! It will still worth $100.

The very 1st question: the 34 year old is afraid of being a mom because of perpetuating the cycle she experienced as a child. ⚠️Warning⚠️ I was given the same advice: because I am on a healing path and asking the questions I will be ok. For me it's not always ok. It's important to remember your children also pick you. It's important to witness your mistakes as a mother and the solutions. So yes, you will be ok. But if your experience is anything like mine, traumas sneak up, and triggers do happen. Give yourself the space to sit with those moments, do the healing, and let your kids witness you in your fullest! They learn more from your actions than your words. There is no perfect outcome in life, just moments. My wish for you is to have more moments of pleasure with your kids than the moments of pain. 💓✨️☮️

I spent my whole childhood away from my family in care from a baby in schools aftercare. I only had my dog as a friend but they kept removing my pets too. I felt alone cold waging school at age 6. The sadness and the Loneliness is still vivid in my mind

This is such an amazing segment. You shed light on so many issues amidst our society that really should be being looked at. I am glad you said this; This is my first time listening to you but I have loved “Know Thyself” for a couple weeks now. Basically people need the information. My question for you is if you feel the problems need to be addressed before healing can occur? These things take time but speaking is the first step to recovery.

Such an important and impactful Message and I am so grateful that you are bringing it to us. The understanding and compassion that comes through you now could only exist because you came through the gauntlet of trauma to awareness and healing. The work is when we become aware of it and become more compassionate with ourselves and others. You and Tara Brach ( of whom I am a long time fan) have brought this wonderful much needed RAIN to us thank you.

yes i do agree trauma is a lot deal with toxic homes. It's not easy to heal but anything is possible. I think these are great words of wisdom. As someone that had a best friend that was a clinical psychologist. I knew the old habits that I would fall into. Having adhd change my perspective of how I view my relationships and what it cost me. I am now on my healing journey after years of therapy dealing with a dysfunctional home. This comes so close to home. Like dr phil always say "we can't change what we don't acknowledge." I am studying in healthcare administration right now I see and study all these things that are so interesting that i never knew before. Psychology was always apart of me. a lot of successful people have trauma. it applies to everyone that has a toxic household i have seen. Facts are that people have the inability to be heard or seen.

Everything he talks about, especially making the unconscious conscious is the core of hypnotherapy and NLP work. You don't need years of talk therapy, or even psychedelics to change your mind. Change can happen with a good practitioner more quickly than you think.

So many insights and in that very welcome, soothing Maté voice, too. One tiny point on animals. Troop primates are frequently abusive as parents, too - and can allow abuse of their own offspring by others, usually further up the hierarchy. Orang Utan far less so, as they are naturally solitary with no troop politics to deal with (they only group in human-created environments).
