Denise, sure, do Whole 30. And when you're finished, please consider Intermittant Fasting, where you eat 3 meals a day within a limited time window (for me it's 8am to 5pm). No snacking. No counting calories, no slave to a program, I eat whatever I want at each meal (I'm vegan) and I lost 8 pounds when I first began I.F. The only thing to remember is no snacking, because we snack all the time! This limits the release of insulin for digestion, and the weight loss is so effortless. I hope you'll try it... I'm a "lifer", it's so freeing! More importantly, please just watch ONE video by Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr, MD on the benefits of a Whole Food Plant-Based (WFPB) lifestyle.

You are not worthless!! You are courageous and strong! I totally understand though. I have withdrawn from activities with my grandchildren because I just don't have the energy at all. It's ok to be sad because we are really dealing with a disease that is just debilitating. But you have started to be proactive about your health and food choices, hard, yes!! Pain in the butt, yes!!! But you have started and it's ok to "fall off" sending prayers for your continued improvement and I enjoy these updates!!

Hey Beautiful! I tell you what… I wouldn’t wish pain on ANYONE, but you talking about it was like a big HUG to me… I guess I often feel alone, so just hearing I’m not was very comforting… in a way. Does that make sense? I hope so. I feel the same about my family not having me all the time. My kids grew up going through it, and now I’m a grandma. I’m on a current program for diabetes/hypothyroid with a Dr, but I wanted you to know YOU’RE not alone either, and now I’m sending you a big virtual hug!!!

I would love to sign up. I'm going to wait until my thyroid labs come back to see if they have improved before starting an elimination diet. I have cut out gluten. My Paloma lab kit arrived today so I'm excited. I too am in horrible chronic widespread pain. It feels like I've worked out for days or just got hit /run over by a Mac truck. My TSH was at 37 in March, 15 in June. As much as Im hoping they have improved I'm also hoping for another increase in medicine. Mornings are so painful, my head is so foggy and I need time to function. It's very depressing. It just takes over your quality and joy out of life. I'm so happy to hear that you are improving and thankful for sharing this information because sometimes we just feel so alone!! Praying for continued improvement for you!!

Oh… dear one… I had to pause the video so I could read the cup, and could barely finish it before the water works began. ❤️ are you able to use alternate coffee creams? I use a coconut base organic cream called SO. I use a milk frother to fluff up this creamer and it works wonderfully. The ingredients is pretty clean, not perfect nothing is, hope you can look into it. I pray Jehovah Rapha’s healing blessings over your body. You are an excellent spokesperson no matter what the discussion may be and to use one’s challenges in order to help many is what it’s all about anyway and what you are good at. There will be rewards for the selfless, even tho that idea never crosses their minds. Amen. Much respect 🥰❤️🙏

Thank you so much!! I did find a great cream that is made with coconut milk, but I still need just a little sweet and I think I've got it figured out... it is technically a cheat on the Whole30 but it is healthy and so I'm going to go with it! Hugs, and thank you so much for your kindness!

Denise, my heart hurts for you, I was wondering if you have been tested for Lupus? I only ask because you are explaining me and my life in every aspect. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism and arthritis. Prayers for you sister. I found you and had no idea you had an auto immune issue. I came across you by researching wigs. I’ve been in my wig journey now for a year and a half. Which I wish O would of done this sooner!, so thank you for all that you do for your wig sisters. I wish you well my friend 🩵

The last time I went to my Rheumatologist (a new one after my beloved one retired after seeing him for 25 years) she said that all my joint and pain problems were not arthritis related and that I should go back to my primary... I was so disappointed that I stopped going to doctors all together... the ONLY doc I've ever had that seemed to care was my Rheumatologist that retired. Now I'm just trying to handle this naturally with diet, supplements, exercise, and prayer. Every day I fleetingly think I should find a new doc, but all my bad doc experiences prevent me from doing that. I'm so sorry to hear about all you have gone through, that is A LOT!

Hi sweet Denise. I’m 70 years old and I was diagnosed with Thorasic Outlet Syndrome 30 yrs ago. Plus I have fibromyalgia. I know all to well about chronic pain. I deal with it 24/7. I also have pacemaker defibrillator and am on oxygen 24/7. With all that said I completely understand how you’re feeling. Watching your video made me cry. Have you considered seeing a neurologist? That’s who I’ve been seeing for 30yrs. Reach out to me how? I’m not sure with this scammer hitting your videos and me via my email address. Tell me if you have any ideas. God bless you. ♥️🌹

Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about all your health challenges... it is so difficult to manage. If you want to reach me just email me at the email heywigsister@gmail.com The scammers can't get your info just by emailing me. They haven't logged into any of my accounts and I have them VERY secure so they can't hack into them. You would be safe to email me there.... HUGS!

Are you sure you don’t also have fibromyalgia? It mostly ended my life by 26 & here I am at 35 miserable in constant pain hiding from the world in a room in my parents house,cuz I’m constantly miserable and crying and I felt like you sounded like me when you said worthless, that’s me and I would never want anyone to feel that! I missed out on being a mom to! You have kids so you always have something to live for and get out of bed for! Wish you the best!

The last time I saw my Rheumatologist she said it sounded like Fibro, but she didn't have any advice for me. I was so disappointed in her and stopped seeing her (my BELOVED Rheumatologist that I had been seeing for over 30 years retired and I am still so sad, he was amazing). Now I just battle through on my own.... the thing I hate about a Fibro diagnosis is that it seems like a cop out for the doctor. If they say you have that then they don't have to do anything else because there isn't much they can do to help with it. Sort of like IBS (which I was diagnosed with YEARS ago)... if you have stomach and gut issues and they can't seem to find what it is, they call it IBS and send you on your way. UGH. Sorry for the rant!!! It is just really frustrating. I am SO SO SORRY that you are struggling with this. It is just terrible. Sending you hugs and adding you to my prayer list.

@@heywigsister hi Denise. If you think you’re suffering with fibromyalgia I got mine in remission since August of 2023. So 9 months. I found it on EO Nutrition. It works. I know this is from a year ago. Let me know and I’ll tell you what I did. I also had 1/2 my thyroid removed 30 years ago. My temperature was always around 95 degrees but I’ve got it up to 97.8-98.1. So I have more energy and less brain fog and I don’t need to nap as much during the day. I have a little way to go but I’m getting better. Also, gf of course. And cut back on sugar. Hope you’re doing better now. ❤ Pam

Oh my gosh. I feel so bad for you Denise. Why can't the doctors help you?

That is the million dollar question... If this next round of the Whole30 (extended) doesn't help it is time to find yet ANOTHER doctor.

Question…do you know if Whole 30 is ok for Diabetics????
@heywigsister2 жыл бұрын
You can google it and there are lots of articles about it. I don't see why it wouldn't be good for someone with Diabetes... it is just healthy whole food eating, it isn't a fad diet like Keto or one that focuses exclusively on a specific type of food. The fact that this diet eliminates sugar completely AND all grains would be great for someone with Diabetes because these are the things that spike insulin so much. My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes and I had Gestational Diabetes with 2 of my pregnancies (one I needed insulin for) and based on my experience I think this would be PERFECT for a diabetic.

Denise, seems like this video is coming up in suggestions lately. I've followed you for a while and I know you are a real advocate for Keto and have lost a ton of weight following it. Shouldn't you write something to that affect on this video and pin the comment so others who come and watch this will have your latest data? Just a thought. I think you should definitely do that so as to not steer people down a path they may not need to go down.
