Health update and a walk about

This is my first real day of being able to film. Unfortunately, I took a turn for the worse (February) and ended up in the Acute Assessment Unit at The Christie. After 3 days I was allowed home and told to rest. My Consultant explained that I had unfortunately just crossed the line whereby the Amivantamab was causing me more harm than good, so treatment was stopped. This week I'm being invited to meet with another Clinical Research Team to discuss ongoing trials. My primary tumour is static and the nodes are barely growing. Keith is marvelous, he is my rock, without him I dread to think.

Our garden in middle of May is not as beautiful as yours!! Thanks~ Had to come for a visit was watching a couple old videos phals in glass. Hoping your recovery is going along better after change you made in trials. Mom was real bad , they tried her on Fentenal patch, horrible thing for her and us, Dr. said that it was just a extremely small amount. Well she had a terrible reaction and took a month to get off it, and now has turned over a whole new leaf in life!! Praying for you to regain strength Now Much Love Carolyn

....dearest Margaret.....back around 1991.....my wife Jan was diagnosed with Leukemia and Lymphoma at the same time......it was unheard of....she underwent surgery....and then chemo for almost 2yrs.....Towards the end of that time she was in bad shape and going down fast......a new experimental treatment was tried... and she reacted very badly....they notified family and even gave her last rights.....we kept praying and praying........over the next few days she stopped her decline........and then started to improve.....she never looked back....and went into full remission......they even wrote about her in some medical journals...... .....Then 5 yrs ago this April.......she was diagnosed with breast cancer.....the same oncologist that cured her many years before...(over 30yrs ago). treated her again....an amazing man....She is now in full remission with no signs of any cancer....He said those that keep fighting and dont give in usually make it......and she is living proof that the power of prayer can do amazing things......we are all praying for you, and know you will overcome this.....dont ever give up and fight fight fight......big hugs for you and for Keith.......what a warrior he is!........much love from Alabama

I hope they manage to sort out a new medical regime that gives you fewer problems quickly. It must have come as a bitter disappointment but if the side effects were so severe there’s no question of staying on it. I will have lost bone density because I have been on steroids for about a year but I can’t take the drugs they use to counteract the osteoporosis. Thankfully I’m tapering off Prednisolone and hope to be off them altogether by October. I also need to watch the sun, though not as much as you by the sound of it. I’ll have to lather on SP50 when the sun shines. I even have to use SP50 lip balm! All the best to my namesake.

Talk about being knocked off your feet, Keith, the past couple of months have almost taken me to the limit. Then you begin to wonder, will you ever feel well again. You know by experience how I'm feeling, but somehow we pull through that dark cloud and the sun starts to shine. You've got your cruise holiday to look forward to, such an achievement since this time last year. That's what I love about being on KZbin, we can share our ups and downs and our subscribers will always stay positive for us.

@@orchidsgardeninengland1682 that’s certainly true. The comments and good wishes on my Facebook posts while I was in the hospital felt like a warm hug. I have been unbelievably lucky. Some people with vasculitis are devastated by its effects but I’m in that strange situation of looking well, being able to almost everything again but never knowing when the next bout of fatigue or brain fog will hit me.
