My 2X Great Grandfather fought at Stones River on the Union side........he survived the battle but died later in January of pneumonia. He is buried at Stones River National Cemetery.

We living in East Tennessee. Actually where the flood did it's worst damage to Tennessee. I also am going to Vanderbilt for heart issues. I will be having a procedure in November. Thanks for coming to Tennessee.

I live in Murfreesboro and I was very impressed by your profile of the Stones River Battlefield. I try to bring all my guests to the museum. And have taken my grandkids to the slaughter pen. We must pass on to future generations the Civil War story. The next time you're this way, check out Oaklands Mansion in downtown Murfreesboro. Soldiers camped on that lawn and there was a skirmish there too. While in town, be sure to get lunch at Kleer-vu Kitchen. A hole-in-the wall meat n three with real soul food and the best fried chicken! Great video! Thanks for sharing.

You were near one of the best places to eat in western Ky! PATTIES 1890 SETTLEMENT! IT IS IN GRAND RIVERS KY RIGHT OFF I 24. Known for 2 inch pork chops, flower pot bread, strawberry butter, and mile high PIE. They have gluten free also. You should explore land between the lakes area. Several breweries are in that area too.
