Life Hack: Pine Sol cleaner keeps bugs away. They don’t like the smell. Use it on your floors and walls and behind the appliances and they will leave!! Also in the bathroom of course

Bugs also hate peppermint. Put several drops of peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle of water and spray away. I use it around the perimeter of my outdoor pool in the summer and no ants or bugs come around. You could spray it at the doorway thresholds too.

I just saw your post on reddit and came to take a look because I've been trying to get myself to start cleaning the mountain we have at home so I can have my boyfriend over at my house for a change since I only drive to him 1hr 30m every time and im way too embarassed/ashamed to have him over in its current state. hopefully watching these videos can give me some motivation and or advice!

Orthene fire ant killer got rid of my roach problem with in a week, it’s a powder and you put it all around and it gets rid of them quickly, home depot or Walmart around 11 dollars

How do these landlords get away with the awful conditions of these places? Even after cleaning you can see the terrible disrepair and age related problems with them. Infuriates me! I bet they live like lords in their huge lavish houses 🤬

I think they get away because apartments in that condition are cheaper, unfortunately a lot of people can't afford better and they are happy to find at least that 😕

I'm not a landlord, but in their defense, why would they want to put nice things into a place where renters treat their property like this? The renter is responsible for these conditions and are probably lucky they haven't been evicted. I'm sure there are many bad landlords, but there are two sides to these situations.

It’s owned by the New York City Housing Authority- NYCHA which is notorious for slum conditions. The only good news is the woman’s rent is very very low like $50- $100 a month.

@@crystalk9190 that apartment is dilapidated, it wasn't renewed at all, probably for decades. If I remember right, Barbie said that cockroaches are all over the building, not only this apartment, it's possible that all apartments are in the same condition. But as someone else said, at least they are super cheap.
