No way I'd been in a Calorie deficit for about 2 months and Hit gym daily with 20 min cardio and 1 hr Muscle workout and still see no difference.

no way the aalo tikki burger is gonna be THAT much!... 1 serving (75 g) is about 350 calories on the official mcD. 1 burger is 120 grams, that makes calories in 1 aloo tikki over 650 calories!! Its highly unhealthy! They have so cleverly written 1 serving on the website, 1 serving is about half a burger guys. this can potentially hinder weightloss journey of so many people

Sooo wrong. Pls don't misguide people. In that much chicken biriyani from restaurant, calories from just oil/ghee/vanaspati will be more than 150. Also in the case of aloo paratha calories from fat is not considered at all.

Sadly no where near enough protein in most Indian food to maintain a healthy amount of muscle mass. A lot of great food that I incorporate into my diet when I need carbs though.

You aren't adding any calories to rice while boiling (unless you add oil to it). So it should be the same as steamed rice

Don't go for calories , go for food high in prana(sattvic home cooked food) and eat according to digestive fire , and exercise daily acc to strength , and live a lifestyle acc to natural rythms of nature.. don't fall in trap of modern science ,it changes every 5-6 yrs , follow our ages old ayurvedic wisdom. You all have grown up eating all good home cooked food without counting calories. The only problem in today's life is sedentary lifestyle. So , eat home cooked food and exercise daily and eat outside food and the sugary dishes in moderation.... Every individuals are created different , but mainly there are three prakritis(constitution) of people, vata ,pitta,kapha eat food that suits your prakriti and current constitution..even low calorie food is high for weak digestive system and even high calorie food is less for strong digestive system. Exercise done acc to strength and regularly balances all three doshas and makes your digestive system strong ,like you had in childhood ,at that time you used to play and eat what is available in home and even fried food and sweets and never gained weight..and was pretty fit..
