Seems like Sage and my daughter are into the exact same stuff! But we are massively into Peppa Pig. It’s so much fun! The reusable pouches are great. Helpful for when kids are sick so they get something to eat, hydrate, and vegetables. We aren’t a juice family, so these are our go-to.

Great suggestions! My 3 year old soon has almost everything from your list 😄 the brio train set, magnatiles, blueys book, the green toys submarine instead of the truck, he had the fisher price remote when he was 1 >> same playroom all the way in the Netherlands! He is also getting a Yoto and connetix tubes/ball run for Christmas. Honestly the train set, magnatiles and his little hot wheels /garage set are played with everyday. I also recommend the danish puzzle Plus Plus (small or big size) or giant puzzle of the Human Body from Janod (beloved french brand) to do together as a family!

Matching pjs can be so expensive and the adults just end up with all Christmas PJ's for winter. Last year I got matching pjs but then bought the kids the next 4 years worth of sizes. So the initial purchase was expensive but me and my hubby can just wear the same PJ's for the next 4 years, so it's saving money in the long run.

These ideas are very nice. I’m just wondering while watching, are there also parents reading this, giving their kids just one or two presents? My experience is it can be realy overwhelming for them to get so much. We also value being thankful for the smaller things in live. How do you balance this during the holidays? Have a wonderful Christmas ❤

I'm crunchy so I like watching your videos, and we LOVE yoto in our house. But, just want to throw out a caution with the wireless headphones, there's no research to show that those frequencies are actually safe for developing brains. You can search some stuff on it, especially coming out of Europe. We've gone with all wired headphones for all our kids because of this, and we shut the Wi-Fi off on the yoto if they are going to be really close to it.

@HealthNutNutrition I think they are just a different brand. It looks like they may include directions for more structured games as they advance in skills. I may try both now, lol. Also, wordless picture books are great for this. Your library should be able to pull a list for you. We loved "Wolf in the Snow" this time last year.

These are all great ideas. I just feel compelled to send a little "buyer beware" for the fire tablet. Not because it's a tablet, no hate for using one! My 2nd kiddo is 12 and autistic, non-verbal. We had one of them for years and no matter how often I went through all the parental settings on the tablet and within Amazon's site itself with my account, they were always updating some of their apps to allow new access to the store. In the 4ish years we had it he was able to order thing from various apps at least 6 times. They were always great about returning and refunding the items when I explained the situation, but it was a hassle. when the screen finally cracked we officially said "never again!" and got a Samsung tablet as googles parental controls are all encompassing for purchases. The fire tablet is only worth it for the price if you can snag it while it's on sale but just remember, kids are sneaky and they will find a way! Thanks for all the other ideas! ❤
@HealthNutNutrition6 күн бұрын
Weve never had an issue with that but also sage is still little and doesnt know how to work apps, etc. you can also lock the screen. we only use it for movies and shows not for games. is there a way to lock or delete the amazon app? I havent looked into it.
@nicolemitchell94026 күн бұрын
@@HealthNutNutrition You can password protect purchases from the Amazon store app, but I believe you have to set that up in your Amazon account on a computer. And also hide some of the other Amazon apps from the home screen like audible and alexa in the parental controls. But the most recent "oopsie" for us what actually through the included photos app. They added access to the store to purchase prints of your photos and because it was a new access point to the store it was not covered by the parental controls. My kiddo found a way, from that access point, to order $300 worth of ink for a printer we don't own lol! Like I said, they're always really good about taking returns and doing refunds. We were even refunded for the photo prints he ordered and got to keep them. I'm not sure if the Amazon Kids Fire tablet has a more thorough set of parental controls than the "adult" one.

We also got a brio train set. That is a looot of gifts, just pick what you like and can afford. In the end, the gifts don’t matter but what you actually do with them during Christmas time. I’m sure if you think back to your own childhood, you won’t actually remember the gifts but decorating the Christmas tree, making cookies, singing, playing and coming together with family, etc. don’t feel stressed because of the gift giving ❤❤❤
