i had the surgery about 3 years ago and i'm doing so much better.... the stones hurt me for 2 years, caused an ED. I eat everything, even fast food - no problem... so much better without the gallbladder. but yes, it took roughly 6 month to heal all the way...i can imagine it taking even longer

@@anthonyvincenthopkins6129 4-6 weeks I was not able (or I was not meant) to lift heavy (not more than 5 kg) if I remember correctly.. Still I have no complaints. Maybe more diarrhea but that's on me, I eat what I feel like eating regardless of fat or oil

I've been diagnosed with Gallstones, but with hardly any symptoms, so I was concerned about going ahead with surgery or if I really needed it. But I'm now convinced to go ahead and have my Gallbladder surgery before it becomes serious. Thank you for the great video and advice, its made me feel a lot more positive.

I have been doing almost 6 months and I feel great no more pain since, and i released so many stones omg i was in pain every pain but now alhamduliallah. @@sophiasaleh1705 I did look into it and consulted my Doctor. I have had surgery and it went really well, now eating anything with no problems except still have to take it easy with lifting heavy things. Apparently it takes some months before your body fully adjusts. Im afraid to say the Gallstones wont go away on their own unless they are ejected out of the Gallbladder like mine, but your then in danger of the stones getting stuck in the Pancreas duct causing Pancreatitis (which I had) which can lead to sepsis that can be fatal. If you have Gallstones. your Gallbladder is not working properly and overtime will only get worse causing you more problems. I can only say for me surgery was the only option and way forward, and it was very, very safe with me spending only a night in hospital. But, you don't say what the life time risk is for removing the gallbladder. I heard that if one remove the gallbladder, they are put at risk for colorectel cancer. Why not just inject the gallbladder to dissolve stones?

Since the size of the defect is just 1.6 cm only, is it reach urgent to do hernia repair. I’m on day 10 of recovery from surgery... had an awful time .. now all my cuts x4 are infected so on antibiotics Still very swollen and suffering with pain... I severely underestimated the after effects of surgery.. was led to believe I’d be up and about in hours... still can’t sit upright for very long ... it is major abdominal surgery and you need to prepare for that!! Loosing over 5 stone caused mine ..

I kudos you doctor for clearing out my fears. I am 28 and gone through endoscopic gallbladder surgery successfully last week, and indeed I have a lot of queries on it, thank you so much for clearing my doubts and myths on it. Why?? There are natural remedies for removing of galstones. Like olive oil and lemon it is so effective, you dont need any surgeries..

Good... Mine is multiple 4-5, maximum of 10mm...asympotatic...no pain.... Took homeopathy but nothing changed... I am otherwise fit no BP, Sugar etc. ... But i do jogging and weight lifting without which I won't enjoy life... I am open for surgery.. But enlighten me about my post exercise regimen.. I am also willing to take online consultation... If only gall stones are removed there are many chances that stones will be developed again in the near future. That's why in many cases Doctor's advise to remove the entire gall bladder. My father had a surgery just couple of hours back to remove gallbladder, please pray for his speedy recovery
