Thank you, very helpful! Shared the video with somebody I care about, who has his gall bladder removed. Yesterday he ate a spicy tamale and found himself at the end of the day on the bathroom floor because he passed out. And it was helpful to me as well, I’ve abused my body most of my life…. I’m a sugar and carb addict, I smoked cigarettes and abused drugs. At 60 years old the effects of such abuse is rearing it’s ugly head with one last warning! A last chance you might say to live a healthier life. That’s what I’ve been doing for over a year, i see results and I’m getting confirmation that it’s important to put me first!

Mine was removed in 2009 because I had intense pain one time, went to the ER, and they suggested I remove it. I trusted the industry at the time, so I believed they had my best interest in mind. They said it was badly inflamed and the size of a baseball. They didn’t provide information on how it would impact my liver or offer diet changes. I appreciate the information and will be assessing my diet and making changes. I should not have had it removed.

My gallbladder was so big it was, embedded into my liver. They had to slice a bit of my liver, off to remove it. My doctor never told me how important my diet was after my gull bladder removal. After listening to you and others on you tube, I have made some changes in my diet and am noticing some great relief in my digestion.

I had my gallbladder removed in my 30's, because it was very painful. Every time I ate afterward, I felt like I was being stabbed in the gut! I'm in my 50's now, and overweight. I appreciate the information. I don't recall my doctor giving me ANY advice on how/ what to eat after having the surgery. It just started coming to my mind that since I'm a woman, and over 50, in menopause, and no gallbladder gallbladder, I have to wonder if those are all factors. I've begun intermittent fasting now, and working on upping my physical activities. So far, I'm down 14 lbs. Guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I've also been working at cleaning up my diet, eating more 'raw' foods, and cutting out fast food & processed foods.

I had my gallbladder removed 5 days ago. I had no stones, I had a large, growing polyp, so it was necessary. Now I am trying to learn how to eat without my gallbladder. I would love to have a written diet to follow. I have already found that eating every two hours, small meals, as I was told to do, does NOT help with the fullness I feel. I would love to have a written diet to follow with amounts to eat. Do you have any suggestions for a printable diet? Thank you so much for your very helpful video. I'm afraid of all the liver and pancreatic problems that can happen, but you have explained very well the potential issues that might occur.

I had incredible pain at 22 which no one could find. I was very thin and healthy I thought but eventually the pain got so intense and I felt like I couldn’t live any longer. The very last time at the hospital a doctor actually spent some time asking me questions and understanding something was very wrong. He found that the gallbladder was gangrenous and I needed emergency surgery. I’m now 55 and I have quite debilitating stomach problems. I’ve been diagnosed with several chronic conditions like IBS, Gerd,Gastroparesis, chronic bloody gastritis and other conditions not related to my GI but limit the way I have to eat. Like bladder disease from to much histamine production. All of this makes it very difficult to eat, but how I feel even eating almost nothing is not really explained by any of these conditions and I wonder how much my not having a gallbladder plays a roll in how badly I feel. My GI doc doesn’t really think much of that but I do wonder if leaky gut could cause debilitating stomach attacks? I don’t even know what to call these events but I appreciate the information. I always felt that the cholecystectomy could be the culprit. I fear I’ll never know and continue to get worse. So sorry for the very long comment maybe one day someone will say I have that and it’s got a name, lol. Thanks again ❤

Ultimately, I now have fatty liver disease. And thanks to your video, I think I know why my left side of my stomach looks larger than my right side, my pancreas, which I am going to talk to my doctor about right now. Agree that Doctors want you to remove gallbladder. The first time I went to a doctor, he suggested Endoscopy..money for him...he did not ask for Ultrasound. My first ultrasound was done when I ended up in ER for pain where it was recognized that I have stones. The next visit, the first word from my Doctor was go for surgery. I avoided it for an year, but did not do much about fixing it naturally. Ended up ER again, and Laprascopy was forced upon me.

Bile is alkaline not acidic. One of its function is to neutralize stomach acids. There is so much bad or wrong information out there. If fats are not digested (emulsified), they get passed on through and result in diarrhea. My surgery is next week and for the past 3 months, I've been eating 5-6 meals a day. I used to eat at least a 1/2 - 1 lb steak. Now I eat 1/4 lb with vegetables, and I have beef once every 2 weeks. I consume a lot of fish (i love it) and chicken. Stay away from all fried foods. I haven't had a gall bladder attack in the past 3 months. I still get back pain after a "larger" meal, But I'm able to sleep and feel fine in the morning. Lastly, the extra 3 meals I eat are apples, berries and vegetables. My surgeon told me to consume a protein drink if I'm still hungry for my 6th meal.

I had my gallbladder removed 4yrs ago and since have been hospitalised 5 times as an emergency with the same symptoms and very high liver function results. I was given no information or advice when I had the operation and after 4yrs of tests have been told that I likely have sludge permanently forming in my bile duct which periodically results in inflammation of my liver and great pain. I wonder if I should do a liver cleanse and change my diet and lifestyle. My consultant was not happy about advising me on any non surgical options and signed me off. I got the impression that he felt that at my age (retired) I should just put up with it.

Hi. I had my Gallbladder removed about 15 years ago. Having trouble losing weight now - I am trying to stick to two main. Meals a day/ eat mostly low fat and Whole Foods. I see a lot of doctors on the internet pushing bile salts and ox bile. How does one know if need to take and if so how much? The past year I have been getting very loose stool in the mornings only-usually after that first meal. It’s very annoying. I do. I do NOT get bloating nor gas . What should I try? I will be traveling and this will be a big inconvenience

I developed gall stones are weight loss surgery. Had it removed after a serious attack. Since then I can eat much fats dairy meats or rich foods. Ive become semi vegetarian and enjoy it but I wish I had known there was an alternative. The weight is just creeping back on no matter what I do

I had my gallbladder removed in 2009 and I have had digestive problems ever since. Very difficult to lose weight. Going to try intermittent fasting 16:8. Any recommendations for a diet to follow?

I ve had polyps for 15 years and Hep C which has healed but ultra sound is now showing mud and stone plus polyps 10cm long, dr is recommending surgery as polyps can turn into cancer. I would like to avoid surgery since I have no great discomfort or pain. Please advise regarding polyps and recommend a good flush. I am 72 yo and live in Serbia. Thank you.

I thought that when your gallbladder was removed the bile went straight from the liver to the small intestine via the hepatic duct?
