In Kenya we combine pearl millet is combined with sorghum, finger millet maize and sorghum. We grind and make porridge or ugali(our staple food). Some Kenyans add cassava too. Kenyans in upcountry mill their own flour at the posho mill but in urban areas they eat sifted flours. What is a BIG issue in Kenya is wheat. All wheat is sifted even the whole grain. From when I first bumped into one of your videos it caught my attention. I have been gluten free and lactose intolerant. After hearing your talk I said I will start to kill my flour. I went to look for the wheat grains. I got hard red wheat. I have been making bread and since I started am shocked. No bloating, no constipation, no reflux. In one of the counties farmers use stone milling for wheat and I bought 2kgs of whole wheat. But I got constipation and reflux. Now am fully back to killing my own flour. Thank you so much for allowing God to use you. You touched my life and I will also touch many. God bless you immensely and keep sharing this great tips on healthy eating.

I first watched this video 2 years ago and it has been such a blessing. I no longer get stressed out by what I’m feeding my family. It’s healthy and my kids actually eat it! Our go-to recipes are the bread, pancakes, and coffee cake. We eat it everyday all day. We also have kefir smoothies everyday, barely any processed food, and take a walk after dinner. It’s so simple and we feel great!

I have begun eating pressure cooked whole grains and beans recently. My glucose levels are falling. I used to be hungry all the time and had intense sugar cravings. In a matter of days, this disappeared. And I don't feel heavy and worn out all of the time. I will eventually start making my own baked loaves, but it isn't necessary for starting to eat whole grains.

This is amazing information. Just received my grain mill! Quick question…I am assuming that in order to get the best results you have to stop eating any white flour or white rice type foods?
@BreadBeckers
@BreadBeckers 2 жыл бұрын
Well, in order to get the best results...yes; however, in the beginning, the only change I made was milling my wheat and making my own breads. I didn't change anything else, and I still saw amazing health results within the first week, with just that change. Of course, it began to inspire me to make other changes along the way, but that was the only thing I changed in the beginning, and I still got results. Making sure to eat the bread every day is very important and also a big key. Hope that helps.
