I have tried thrice this uppama with barnyard ad Vaarugu millet. It turned out super. Nice filling. Happy to post this receipe from you. Tk u for the old people to have this kind of uppama. Whether these kind of millets not to be used for dinner because it becomes very heavy ad form gad too. Is it correct.

My husband and I absolutely loved it! Making it for the second time in a week as it is super easy and good option for tiffin as well. I ate it with some coconut chutney and its a great combo. Highly recommend it. Like said in the video, soaking really helps. I soak and wash in the morning before going to work so after coming back it reduces the cooking time. Enjoy :)

My opinion is that the little millett, or any other millett ,need not be soaked over night. One or two hours maximum is enough for soaking as the millett may not lose its natural nutrients. Thank you.
