Mmmmm that looks delicious. I love baked salmon, with a nice rich Hollandaise sauce. That and then some lemon dripped on, with some baby new potatoes and boom, gorgeous!!

I'm a vegan so I usually eat a lot of pumpkin seeds, lentils, spinach, tofu, chia seeds, quinoa and apricots and I've never really had an iron problem. If you can have 100 g of either of these or your protein a day you should be fine. I hope you can boost your iron levels and feel better soon! ❤❤

Have some black pudding ! Its pure iron boost its more than double the iron of fish. And for me its one of the best foods in the world i love it !!!

Nooo. I’ve never even tasted it but I feel it’s one of those foods ‘I just know’ I wouldn’t enjoy. Not so much the flavour, but more the texture, I think. It’s been described as gritty and that’s enough for me to know. Listen, I’ve been eating chicken liver pâté which is iron packed and delicious - black pudding is a no-no👌

Looks lovely. I'm having tests this week to see if I'm anemic or if my thyroid isn't right. I've finally started a health kick compared to the past few months and more. I've got air fried chicken seasoned with quinoa and salad. Enjoy!

Ooh also, with the iron, you can a lot with heme iron. I was on super strong iron pills for years, but I was so tired of the nausea and stomach ache. So I told my doctor that I had researched iron rich foods and was going to see how well I could do that way. On the iron, my numbers rose a bit, but not much. A few months on iron rich foods made it get a LOT better.

Hi Aitch ❤ Very healthy meal, minus the cheese, but hey, cheese makes everything better lol. I don't like salmon, but you make it look appetizing. Hope your iron level improves. I use to be anemic and had to take an iron supplement. The belches were awful lol. Have a wonderful week my friend ❤ 😊 💕

This is getting spooky Aitch, just had my iron results, its 9 for me, absolutely exhausted!! Wonder if that's why we love our carbs so much 🤔 just love being a woman!!!

To make room for more iron rich foods, I’m definitely cutting down on the carbs. Plan currently as I most often eat twice a day, is one meal iron and protein focused and the other carb central. See if that fixes the problem. If not, lessen the carbs even more 🤷🏻♀️
