I like the noodle making with healthy finger millet as compared to Maggie. You said cook until noodle color gets dark. How long to steam, about 10 to 12 mins? Thanks for putting sub titles, I do not understand the language, subtitles are helpful.
@HealthyFoodKitchen5 жыл бұрын
Hi ,Sorry for the delayed reply .. you can cook in the steam for about 10 mins...Try the recipe and let us know your feedback. Thank you

Maam, i have tried almost all the vegetarian recipes that you have shown. Most of them have been superb and liked by everyone at home. I would request you if you could show how to make cakes using ragi, bajra and jowar flour instead of maida, preferably an eggless cake.

How long do i steam the noodles in idli cooker? Thanks!
@HealthyFoodKitchen8 жыл бұрын
+Siva Ramalingam Few Idiyappam Maker will yield thin idiyappam while few will yield thick ones , so it depends on the idiyappam amker that you are using. You can wet your hands and touch and see the noodles,if it does not stick to your hands, then its been cooked. Even you can leave it for 15 mins in the steam.

Can we make this with 100% ragi flour? I m not supposed to eat rice or any other flour?
@monicapandian9 жыл бұрын
+lycralily Do you want to avoid gluten? In that case, rice does not have gluten. Try with Brown Rice flour. Only ragi will make it into a porridge, as ragi does not have the adhesive property. Mix with some Bajra or Shorgum.

+SHANMUGAPRIYA DHARMALINGAM Dry roast the rice flour in the kadai and use it. If you don't dry roast both the flour ( Ragi & rice flour) you will not be able to make noodles/idiyappam.
