Plantains are such a versatile food that many recipes can be made using them. Many confuse plantain with banana mainly because they look similar but when it comes to versatility, I say plantains are the clear winner- Even better when prepared with fish, shrimps, egg, or spinach, they are cheap, and healthy! And the fact that they fruit all year round, plantain is considered a reliable all-season staple food.

God bless you. Delicious. I am sitting at it for dinner right now as I key in my comment. Plantain is a staple food for me, so I jumped at the recipe for the menu. I used chicken because I didn't have salmon; cabbage because I ran out of green bell pepper. I add button mushrooms and cilantro, which I love. Other than these substitutions, I used the rest of the ingredients and followed the preparation. Thanks for the video. I watched it last night.
