Cold shower and cold plunge also helps body create more stem cells. It stimulates the bone marrow to create more stem cells which helps us all alot. I am so Grateful I found you. Your Amazing. I take a ten second cold shower at the end of my shower when I can remember it. No doubt it's helped me. My Brain is working better alot better but I'm doing alot of other things too to help me. I've been through alot. My Daughter passed away almost 18 months ago from Fentanyl overdose and me and I ended a Ten year relationship with Someone I thought was my best friend forever. My Estranged Husband died from Prescription Pill Interaction Toxicity on 2010. It's been hard and it's been alot of loss at a reasonably young age and losing my Daughter is totally not good. That's was the worst one of them. I cry every day over losing her. I miss her so much. Her passing away affected me in every way possible. Mentally.. Spiritually and Physically. It's all connected.

It’s absolutely true that walking immediately after meals (within 30 minutes of starting your meal) minimises blood sugar spikes. I have a rule that if I’m going to eat anything naughty like a piece of chocolate or some dates, I have to be on a walk while eating them! I went on a 5-hour hike yesterday and halfway through I ate a chocolate bar and my blood sugar barely rose at all. But make sure you don’t start your walk after you have peaked and you’re already on the way down - this can cause your levels to crash and you may end up with hypoglycaemia!

I've been in a lifelong process trying to break free of deeply embedded PTSD trauma conditioning... healing MUST BE inevitable if I don't give up, yes? ⚘ here's what I'm working on... I'm desperately struggling... I need prayers. I need guidance. I need help. I need a miracle. MY VOICE HAS BEEN SILENCED MY WHOLE DAMN LIFE. MY BEAUTIFUL SACRED MIRACULOUS VOICE. MY VOICE IS MY MAGICAL GIFT OF TRANSMUTATION! that being said, all my life... I have given people access to me in ways that I should not have EVER granted them access now, I want to scream at the top of my lungs: FUCK OFF!! YOU DO NOT GET TO HAVE ACCESS TO ME IN THAT WAY!! THE DOOR IS NOT OPEN!! YOU MAY NOT COME IN!! ACCESS DENIED!! but fuck, so much easier said than done. I've been programmed my whole life to be silent, conditioned to have no boundaries... so how, now, at 44 years old, do I change this all around? (may those whom I loathe suffer for all eternity for what they've done to me! TRULY.)

#48:10 I think this is why America is lagging behind other cultures and demographics. Because in a majority of other places where obesity and inflammation aren't common, they are walking around doing things throughout the day. Not the extremely strenuous tasks all day. Just walking around, swimming maybe, maybe gathering for meals and preparing meals by hand instead microwaving a processed product then sitting on the couch to eat it and watch TV, etc. America is very scheduled and intense. You go all out in the gym, then go to the stressful job and work work work while sitting for hours on end, and so on. That is industrialisation. That's for machines. Not people.

Could the show consider doing this type of talk from the point of view of someone who has always been ultra morbid obese over half century? It's interesting to hear people who have never been obese talk about how to get a little bit better healthy but it would be even more outstanding to have a discussion from someone who is always had a BMI over 60. Also, could you blend into the discussion how people from the northern and southern hemisphere are the planet take care of their health and people from the equator? The reason I ask is climate temperature for these people over the centuries are pretty constant but extreme. Also, their food sources over many generations are very different from western cultures and how your thought processes overlay for people not like where you're from. Just a thought for an interesting presentation

Yoga? Factually that is all about the Hindu religion. Great if one is aware of this and makes a choice. However, to divorce yoga from Hinduism is to create unnecessary stress, at best. Please Dr. Understand this.

Dr. Means' insightful commentary on contemporary medical issues is truly remarkable. Her eloquence and thoroughness are greatly appreciated. We have learned a lot. However, her use of profanity while expressing dissatisfaction with a particular news article in The New York Times is entirely inappropriate and disappointing. She used a remark with F***. So disgusted! As an educated and articulate medical expert, there are more respectful ways to convey disagreement or frustration, and the use of such word detracts from her otherwise valuable contributions to the discussion... Sorry to say...
