Unfortunately, same problem at Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver...

I lived in Seattle for a few years in the 1990s and it was ok back then except for certain areas. Last year, I went back on a business trip and visited the landmark, Pike Place Market, to buy gifts. A vendor told me cash is no longer accepted due to you know what.

Wonderful. I also have a very positive impression about the medical service at Vancouver, Washington as I had a kidney stone urgency at 4th of July holiday. The service at Emergency Department at Salmin Creek is excellent compared with the emergency service at San Jose hospitals. Will come back to Vancouver, Washington again.

Your presentation is highly interesting to watch. Thank you very much and take care
Hea mom, I am going to visit Vancouver and Seattle in April 2025. Would be a kind to tell which places in Vancouver and Seattle we should not go (such as slums)?

Usually downtown and Chinatown area have slums, but it should be okay during day time, just don’t stay too late East Hastings in Vancouver between Chinatown & downtown has the most homeless, but I don’t think visitors will go there Enjoy your trip ☺️

7:48 note this is legalize recreational use of cannabis, which is different from decriminalization of some soft drugs that is proposing in Canada. Legalization of cannabis for recreation was a mistake but decriminalization is subject to debate. It has its benefits and might be the first step to solve the durg issue in Canada. Well said at 8:09
You are so brave to pass through the walking dead crowd!

This is definitely a different America from 30-40 years that I have known! Each State and the local government has to do something to make it change to rescue the homeless, from the street environment and public safety.
