I got influsion in the summer, I had 2 hearing test, before and after and in 1 week it got a bit better. from that its again quieter(as i feel, ofc I do not have integrated decibel measure software). And sometimes it happens that I hear better with my infected ear which is strange. bur otherwise not a big thing, nearly both ear are the same. Luckily I only have tinnitus in one ear (left) so its not that bad and does not mean that bad comparing to 2-ears tinnitus. I really hope it will go away eventually but luckily its not that bad for me. For example someone struggles with sleeping or concentrating qnd for me it doesnt matter(didnt even have struggles in the first days). I can hear all of them, but I often have issue to understand phone call speech, seems I am too sensitive to some sound frequencies, is there a way to fix this kind of issue?
@IceCrossFire9 жыл бұрын
+Weizhong Gong Although many people do have difficulty understanding phone call speech, if it happens often enough to affect your life, I recommend doing some research on auditory processing disorder (APD). Although you may not have it, what you said reminds me a little of my own APD. But I have the issue not just with phone calls, but also in everyday speech as well. To summarize: It's like dyslexia of the ears, a miscommunication between the brain and the ears. When people talk to you, and they are on the phone or they are mumbling even a little, or there is noise around you, it's hard to understand what they are saying. It's like trying to listen to people talking on the radio through radio static: You hear more of the distraction, no matter how hard you try to catch every word a person is saying. That's what it's like to live with APD for me. Unfortunately, there is no cure for it, but it can be helped a little with training, especially as a child. Hope that helps! :-)
@WZISSoftware9 жыл бұрын
+IceCrossFire Thanks for the reply. At one stage, I also suspect I am having APD issue, but after discussed with some APD researchers, this possibility seems unlikely. So still don't know what's the real cause of my issue.

Tinnitus is created in the brain as the result of some sort of damage to the ears. Is your tinnitus a ringing sound or a hissing sound? The brain creates tinnitus to fill in for the loss of hearing in each person differently, depending on where the damage was done. In my case I have hearing loss at 6000 hz so the brain plays tinnitus at 6000 hz to me at 96db. I hope this explanation helps. FYI my next video will be about tinnitus. GPPYRO

Is this a joke?? This is a very misleading test! Optimally, human hearing capabilities end at about 20,000 Hz. Hearing loss typically occurs between 10,000 and 20,000 Hz. That frequency range is very important for tone definition and spatial recognition. By definition, this is the exact OPPOSITE of a hearing test!

My left drops off at 7000hz and doesn't come back. My right drops of at 6500, but comes back. Very strange.

is it normal for my right ear to drop off in the midrange and then pick back up?

Okay I’m at risk for hearing loss so I’m happy I passed the test if you need something to cheer you up that I find slightly funny because I’m stupid just play the video and speed forward to the end and even maybe back and it sounds like some alien spaceship ??? But idk wish you guys well,😅 thank you for the test it really helped 💖💖💖

I was trying to swat at a mosquito buzzing around my right ear and I accidentally slapped my ear and it rang for a second or two then quit and now it has this dull barely noticeable ache and feels like ear wax clogging my ear or something, so I used this just in case I damaged my ear but I could still hear all of these in my right ear, so I think I’m ok.

I was on lowest volume on my device also I have ear muscles like some people and I found that slightly moving my ears higher (only direction I can move them with the muscle lol) made it slightly easier to hear the tones

Why do I find it easier to hear higher pitched sounds? Like, I hear 10, 000 Hz much clearer than 8, 000.

Is it just me or does it get louder the higher the frequency.

I heard all the tones at volume 1, no headphones. What does it mean?

I’m so glad I got all of them, Ive been playing piccolo for 4 years now in high school so I’ve been having my ears ringing recently. I need to have it checked out but I’m doing my best to plug them when I play now. I love piccolo but the really loud high pitched noise can really damage your ears after 4 years which I’m now learning the hard way 😕

No that just means that your ears are trying to hear it but they're not strong enough to. It happens to me too
