I went to bed hearing just fine in both ears. Woke the next morning and my left ear was so muffled it felt like it was stuffed with cotton. ENT did an MRI and said ear was fine structurally but full of fluid from Meniere's disease. Nothing could be done, just try to cut down on sodium. As a guitarist, I was devastated. No vertigo. No tinnitus. When people talk, it sound like a buzzing bee talking to me in that ear. Can't make out a word they say. This does interfere somewhat with my normal hearing in the right ear as it clashes with the words being spoken. So depressing. I need a miracle from God and will continue to petition Him daily. I believe in Him and his healing power. I must.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me. You gain God's favor by doing so. I refuse to accept this situation. I trust in God's ability, love and compassion. He has done so many miracles more complex than this. He will heal me. I trust in Him. May God richly bless you.@@HearingSolutionCtr

Thank you, I am going for further tests, I have hearing loss in one ear, its been like that for 10 years at least, but on a recent check up have noticed its got worse, my other ear is fine. Worst case scenario I hope is a hearing aid in one ear.

I am deaf in my right ear since birth. I don't really mind it much. I guess since I've never known any different it doesn't bother me as bad as some. The only thing I don't like or wish was different is not knowing where sound comes from. I can't find ringing phones or anything like that. I once heard a wimpering animal outside and it took me way too long to finally find a kitten that was stuck up a tree. I also had a pipe frozen in my home and when the water started thawing I had a busted water line. It ran for hours before I realized it was losing so much water. My water bill was so high.

The only advice is to get to an audio doctor. I had a stroke, which affected the nerve in the brain, right eye, and can't focus either

Yes but since it doesn't necessarily help with those with dead hair cells, it's not going to be helpful with LONG term hearing loss. It's recommended by us for those with Tinnitus and SHORT term hearing loss to maybe recover damaged cells.

Can the cranial nerves be the problem? Why does my neurologist ignore this issue? Before my sudden hearing loss I was having pulsatile tinnitus. Can the cranial nerves be the cause? How can i get a test for this? Will an MRI spot the impacted cranial nerve?
@HearingSolutionCtr
@HearingSolutionCtr 6 ай бұрын
Cranial Nerves are not normally something that kills off one ear. BUT sometimes. MRIs can show that on the 8th nerve yes.
@DR-di3kt
@DR-di3kt 6 ай бұрын
@@HearingSolutionCtrThank you for the reply.. you say Sometimes, so it is possible that the 8th cranial nerve can cause one sided deafness?
@HearingSolutionCtr
@HearingSolutionCtr 6 ай бұрын
@@DR-di3kt It's possible but not as likely. Sudden hearing loss normally happens in the Cochlea. The 8th nerve will be somewhat more gradual.
@DR-di3kt
@DR-di3kt 6 ай бұрын
Maybe that would explain my pulsatile tinnitus for many years with my right ear always feeling full. Over the years, I would flush my right ear out thinking it was full of wax, but it was clean. I believe my hearing was gradual, but never paid attention because my left ear was compensating. I would love to find a doctor that has experience with cranial nerves to take a look at my MRI and MRA and give a second opinion.

Not sure where you are going here. When we have one sided hearing loss for medical reasons, it doesn't affect the other side at all.

@@HearingSolutionCtr my right ear hearing has lost since a few years ago. I stayed in the hospital and dr. used all the treatment they could, even though it recovered a half of the hearing but it is still a medium level lost. Dr. said mine is sensorineural damaged for sure. But I am so used to it now and I take extra care to my precious left ear. A few days a ago, I walked into one of the local hearing centre, they told me I need to do extra care for my ears, since the good one, the left will balance out the hearing with the right, the bad one in the long term, which scared me, they told me to google for info. I am a bit confused and scared since, so far, I feel okay with my adapted hearing and the slight ringing sound over the years. They even told me how harmful it is (if I do not do anything to it) to my brain...

I am speaking from India, I have a big request to you because these scientific doctors have taken out vaccine for corona patients within just 2 years, please why don't you do so much work in Tinnitus and hearing loss suddenly Because you have to work a lot on this because life of many people has become hell in this.
@HearingSolutionCtr
@HearingSolutionCtr 9 ай бұрын
Because most of my industry is hopelessly lost in their left wing stupidity, and I am but one person who does NOT believe the lie (meaning that I agree with you that the vax definitely killed off hearing badly and caused massive tinnitus and I can show it), it will take until an EBS and the world to wake up before many of the idiots get it before new studies will get these people to re-study the truth. I am not a researcher. BUT I will scream out there like you. If you follow me on other channels, you will see how much I do scream...
