Heart-stopping Discovery: SUV Found In Suspected Area Of Missing Man John Boyd

Our time in Chattanooga has been well spent and seems like it’s really picking up.
We’ve searched a ton of water and then finally came upon a section of river that was littered with vehicles. 11 vehicles found in 1.5 miles stretch of the river. Ride or Dive was able to dive this evening and clear them to the best of his ability.
With a renewed spirit that we’re getting closer, we’ve chosen to spend a couple of more days in the area continuing our search.
We cannot thank you all enough for all you’ve done for us and allowing us to be in this position and help these families.

I live 65 miles from the SeaArk facility in Monticello AR! I live 80 miles from the Xpress facility where my fishing boat was built. Plus Arkansas is home for Havoc and Ranger boats. Love what you are doing!

Great job and alot of work! You get better every time I find you. The 3 Amigos! I as well saw the cigarettes and lighter. At 46 I had 5 bypass operation. I am 78 now. My father died at 46 and mother at 57, both smokers. You are doing good things with you life, get a stress test. Enough of lectures . Get a stress test. I know that my great grandma used to fuss at me about telling her goodbye when we would leave. She’s the one who told me to always say later so we have similar stories Maam! Although I’m probably 15 or 20 years older than you, I just love the the level of dedication you guys have to not only looking for, lost souls and helping these families the dedication and love you have to each other as well as the community of you guys that do this. You’re willing to jump in and work with others without hesitation without it becoming a competition, just wholesome one goal, work together! I love that about you guys so keep doing what you’re doing!! When you get down to my neck of the woods, I hope to get a chance to meet you guys, and as another above knee amputee hopefully Cooper’s with you at some point so he could give me some pointers. @@NeatNoodle I completely agree!!! looking actually means more than anything because every time Jacob thoroughly searches an area that’s one less area that the family drives by and thinks I wonder if my loved ones out there. Every time they clear an area it’s one less bit of pain that the family has to go through! And that means just as much (sometimes more) to the families than actually finding the car. Clearing an area means another year of driving by iand Not feeling the sting! No more wondering if and that area can actually become something peaceful again. We know that our loved one isn’t coming home, especially after 31 years, but the wondering every single time we drive up a mountain and peer over a beautiful look out across the valley, or get on the water, the first thought in our mind and every time an area got cleared it allowed us to breathe ever so slightly again in that spot, so you are absolutely correct looking matters more than anything!!!!

I lost my dad to a horrible car wreck 13years ago. 3 days after the wreck was my birthday & his funeral. When we arrived home after his funeral, I began un-buckling my daughter's car seat & a giant moth (the size of my hand) landed on the headrest. It wouldnt fly away. I know that was my dad telling us that he was OK. I left the car door open so the moth could fly out when it was ready to. 20 mins later it was still there. It took off shortly after that. Definitely a sign from my dad.

Good luck finding John Boyd. Is there a national database of submerged cars and boats that you and other teams can add their findings to? If each had GPS coordinates, dated diver notes, images, condition, whether they've been cleared, etc. that could help teams not repeat work or to concentrate on uncleared vehicles. It would also give divers in training a list of dive sites. Cheers!

I’m not sure if there’s something for what has been dove on, but we were always taught to sonar everything, no matter who did it in the past. Dennis Watters even told us to scan things he had done.

It still might be helpful to have a clearing house for bodies of water. Yes, it it doesn't hurt to redo a search. However, if a data base includes GPS, and what vehicles were found but not pulled put it could save time.

Prayers for John's family that they will have answers soon as to his whereabouts. It was kind of weird the way those vehicles were stacked on top of each other in a crisscross pattern. I don't think that was intentionally done by humans. It's funny how nature (aka the river in this case) can present things. May God Bless and Keep You All Safe 🥰 Love You Guys!! With clearing cars, now you know where John is not. I know you will be back. Since Eric lives in the area, he can search some more. I know there are other divers who have searched the area as well. Someone will find him, and the main reason you all are out here is to bring John home. It's not a competition, but the mission of finding lost loved ones and bringing them home to their families. I cant undo the damage from smoking ,no meds can unclog your arteries, mine corotid & abdominal aorta. I started smoking occasionally at 27. Sunflower seeds in shells help after quitting. But no junk food because weight gain happens due to slower metabolism from no nicotein
