On this episode of Chaos Divers, we were humbled to bring Charles Fluharty home, ending the 7-year span of agony for his loved ones.
After an extensive two-day search with Adventures with Purpose, both teams moved to the next case in Pennsylvania. Requested to come back and remove a different vehicle by law enforcement, Chaos Divers took the opportunity to push farther on the cold case of Charles Fluharty.
Being able to locate and bring Charles home to his loved ones was an honor and a humbling experience that we will forever be grateful for and never forget.

There are so many days that I am reminded how fortunate I am to be able to help clean up the waterways for future generations, assist law enforcement in ways that may not be available to them, and allow the healing process to begin for families of those that are missing.
So much of that credit needs to be given to Adventures with Purpose for creating a worldwide movement of giving selflessly to help others. They have presented opportunities to many people, like myself, to follow their heart and provide services of love.
AWP, not only started a tidal wave of giving, but they have also created products that make this all possible.

Thank you, Chaos Divers (and Adventures with Purpose) for what you do. Seeing Jacob's reaction when the license plate is confirmed shows just how heavy the emotions weigh on the divers who do these recoveries. Yet they continue to voluntarily search for our lost loved ones, trying to bring answers to families and friends who are grieving without knowing their loved ones fate. This is so obviously a labor of love that most could never imagine doing. May your lives forever be blessed for the service of love you provide. Another one brought home, providing answers and finally a sense of peace to those who loved and missed Charles Fluharty. May he rest easy in the love of his family and friends.

You put that exactly how it is, Josh: it's a very taxing occupation, on body and soul. And the emotional weight is so often overlooked, its importance discarded. Take care of yourselves and don't dismiss any emotional stress you may experience. Not caring for it, will send you into PTS every time. Not a matter of if, but when. I feel that this side of search and rescue is too much neglected and underappreciated. This is not a world for "tough guys", because they all end up drinking it away without resolution. It's a world for brave guys, who dare to speak up that is wasn't a walk in the park...

I get chills everything someone is found. Thanks to you and the other teams doing God's work for these families. I was a open water and advanced diver till I had an ear drum injury. I was a cop and got my eardrum ruptured in a fight, lol. I am disgusted by some of the law enforcement agencies and officers I have seen on some videos. I am proud of the ones who welcome you all. Whoever took the video footage did a great job getting some interesting shots aside from the story of the dive and recovery. The shot of the train going through was so pretty and the rain on the surface of the water was nice, too. While neither fully removed you from the grimness of the story, they did give the viewer a brief moment to take a breath which was great.

I have so much respect for what you guys do and cannot thank you enough for putting yourselves out there to help other families. I've suffered with my mental health for many years and been in some dark places and your comment at the end "keep pushing in life, there's somebody out there who loves you and if you don't think so, we all love you" may just be a few words but they hit hard when someone is feeling so low, thank you!
