I always look forward to hearing your rants about long Island. Reminds me how I made the right decision to move upstate (the Adirondacks) from Elmont. I remember how depressed I used to be driving back down to the island when I was only visiting up here. Now I haven't even been back to the island for years and I have no reason to. And the absolute state of America? Imagine going to Japan where the streets are insanely clean, everyone is massively polite, everyone is dressed extremely well and people would rather take them self out than go be one of the endless crack hobos that we've got in America. Where I live isn't even that bad compared to most of Cali, Seattle, Portland, NY and so on and it still sucks ass to come back here. Reverse culture shock is a real thing.

That's hillarious, I was born in Oswego. Glad I join the military and didn't have to live there...in 2002. Now I am retired. I am in Brazil, apent the last 11 of 15 months here, got married. Live in Tennessee the rest of the time. You couldn't pay me to live in Oswego. It's nicer than it was in the 90s and 00s...still, it's a 4-12' of snow, welfare nanny tax state HELL!!! Brazil might be shitty in some ways, at least mybrent is equal to $150usd a month fir a house, I can go buy a week if groceries for the equavenent of like $60-70usd. Rothman's cigarettes made by British American Tabacco are like 6.50 Brazillian reals a pack, 5.50 reals is a $1usd. So, I can smoke, do pharmaceuticals, sit around and do nothing. I'm 41...my life is basically like winning the lottery on slow mode but, it occomplishes the sane thing and prevents me from blowing the money. Love you Bithead, I do love watching because you remind me of all those NY characters, Carlin, Dice, dudes I knew growing up, my dead dad a little when he was youngerband would get into it chatting over coffee, booze and smokes. There's nobody down here who speaks english, including my bouncy little 29yr old wife whichbis a curse and blessing...I haven't been one for friends for a few years, still nice to hear someone talk and B.S.
