Those of us who listened to Heart when their albums came out did not just listen to 3 songs. You could throw a dart at any Heart album and play anything it hits. You will be impressed. Amazing music, musicians, and that voice.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are simply LEGENDS, and are among the greatest rock goddesses ever. The debut album Dreamboat Annie, followed by Magazine, Little Queen, and Dog and Butterfly contain so many superb classics, stunning instrumentations, and under appreciated ballads. I even got to see them Live in Philadelphia back in 1976. Love these ladies. 🥰

Ann and Nancy couldn't have done those great rock songs without the rest of the band. Founder Roger Fisher was the guitar genius and rock soul of the band. Michael Derosier on drums was fantastic as was Steve Fossen (co-founder) on bass. They were rounded out by Howard Leese on keyboards and second electric guitar. After Roger and Mike Fisher left - Ann steered the remaining members (who soon left) straight on to pop music and ballads. Ann and Nancy have tried to re-write history as them being the founders and leaders of the band "Heart" - but they were not during the glorious first years when Heart were a kick ass rock band.

Obviously the band was steller on its own, but with out those sisters they would have never made the success they did. All in their group were talented. But the Ann and Nancy gave them a delicious identity and creative input. Musicians are meant to be in the background.

She does have a sexy voice. It sizzles like water on a hot skillet. Nothing wrong with saying that at all. To not point it out would be remiss, especially in a reaction forum. The sound elicits that reaction. And she pulls it off with ease. Ann Wilson's vocal range is incredible. Her live video performance of Barracuda really shows her confidence and she just oozes sexiness. And I am saying this as a heterosexual woman. It is undeniable. Nancy is right there with her, killing it on guitar. Two of the most talented women in rock n roll. Heart never gets old.💖

One of my favorite albums from Heart is The Road Home, a live album released in 1995, is the fourteenth album overall by the rock group Heart. It chronicles a club performance in the "unplugged" style - but with strings - in their home city of Seattle. This song Straight On is done so well on this album. They really emphasise the bass with a funky sound. You should check it out. Great reaction.

I think most people know that Ann is one of the great female vocalists of her generation, but Nancy is a pretty amazing singer in her own right. The sound of the two sisters singing together is incredible. I heard you say you would play Barracuda, but from that same album - Little Queen, one of my favorite songs of theirs "Say Hello" is unique, and I would be willing to bet has never been reacted to. Heart had a "reboot" album during the late 80's hair metal era, and they had some huge hits with the 2 albums they put out at that time. "These Dreams", "What About Love" (which is a cover of a relatively unknown outside of Canada song by the group "Toronto") and "Never" were all pretty substantial radio and MTV hits from their 1985 album. Titled "Heart" It was a #1 Billboard chart album. They followed this up with the Bad Animals album which had the number #1 cover "Alone". I'm not a crazy fan of Hall of Fame/Kennedy Honors stuff, but when they did the Led Zepp Kennedy Honors show, the Wilson sisters did Stairway to Heaven with John Bonham's son on drums, and it absolutely floored everybody. It's worth watching sometime. These women made a lot of great records, and had a lot of hits across multiple decades. I've heard they are still quite good live.
